Deloreans only weigh 2750 pounds. They don't need a great deal of power to get them going. If you understand the era the were created in for cars. In 1981 a Ferrari 308 only has 205hp and that was a great car! The Corvette only had 185hp at the time , so 130hp was standard. I've been in a standard unmodifed Delorean. They are a lot of fun and it's one of the best cars I've been in. I can only imagine what the turbo Delorean is like.

@jammer96 The D was 130bhp standard, where as the Volvo that the engine came out of was 160. D's are piles of crap. Even this one will be struggling to make 260hp, and the way it is set up is diabolical. Crap fuel enrichment circuits, rubbish turbochargers - it sucks

sono state installate solo le turbine e gli scarichi diretti, per il resto è tutto originale!! Io ho solo modificato il filtro dell'aria

If Micheal Fox's Delorean had been set up like this one in BTTF , he wouldn't of needed plutonium. He could of just stepped on the gas and traveled through time! Delorean's don't weigh much. They weigh as much as a Corolla or a Civic. A few updates and proper maintainance and you can have a kick ass ride!

Nice twin turbo setup.I have the same setup on mine.How fast have you gone?After 140 MPH the car get a bit light to steer.I estimate the horsepower is about 200HP at 7 pounds boost.I will send you a video of mine accelerating. 0 to 60 Mph in 6.3 secs.I may sell mine to build a new setup with forged pistons and boost to about 12 pounds,that should get you close to 270HP.
