Had everything, the tension, 2 tries (which is rare in finals), the rivalry brewing between the Australian press and the england side, extra time, dramatic last minute winner and above all the first victory of northern hemisphere rugby against the dominant southern hemisphere. Great moment for all englishmen.

This is my review of the 2011 world cup final:

England played poor but in the second half we won it. If only we had

capitalised on our opportunities. :( I was crying after this game. But I am

glad that johnny wilkinson has gone now. That will probably be his last world

cup. I wish we still had Jason Robinson. He always brought something special

to the world of english rugby. But 16-0 at half time? Come on! But we brilliantly to

close the gap. Wales could never do that cuz there badXD
