The good thing about relient k and alot of other bands are that they write their lyrics so that anyone can listen to it and relate it to something close to them.

You can easily tell this song is aimed at God from their point of view. but they don't mention his name in it so that others can listen to it that don't feel the same way towards God but they can still listen to this song and relate it to their relationships or anything of that matter.

Anyways, great song.
