Disney bought Pixar completely when Michael Eisner stepped down and Robert "Bob" Iger took his place as CEO of Disney. This was in 2005 and my video was made in 2007, so at the time Pixar was owned by Disney and still is. Even if they weren't bought out, Disney and Pixar affiliate with each other, which is why "Pixar" movies are heavily advertised.
