  • how much is the anemone?

  • Betta fighting!!!

  • you should not have yo go that far, they host on there own.

  • plastic anemone??? hahahaha

  • Actually worked for me and my maroon clowns and my rbta.

  • ANEMONES AINT LIKE DAT

  • what type of clown are thoughs

  • 0:23 LOL

  • i see you have a red sea tank? 34 gal?

  • @PIPITGANG No, i have a 29 gallon BioCube. :) i love it

  • it's actually called a colander.

  • @bobnanarama Thank God someone said it... haha

  • I don't understand this. What is hosting?

  • its called a strainer.

  • umm...what kind of candy were you eating while making this video?

  • Unfortunately that's not a type of anemone they host....

  • So did the clowns kill each other?

  • I gave your video a thumbs up because I could imagine how difficult it was to catch those fish out of the tank. I'm pretty sure that is the wrong type of anemone though. Hell of an effort dude.

  • I tried this method when my rose anemone finally detached from a rock and put it in an isolation tank with my two false clowns overnight and most of the next day and now they are both hosting after i put them into my display tank. Thanks for the help.

  • i bet that took ages to work just drop them in the tank they will eventually host it if they want in the tank lol

  • interesting idea. what was the result of this experiment?

  • @microiguana didn't work.

  • Just gettem in there and let the fish decide what they're going to do.

  • not all anemones are safe for clowns. Your best bet is to let them naturally host it. Mine hosted with a bubble coral.

  • thank u for letting me know that

  • a nem o ne

  • Best video ever

  • BEST VIDEO EVER!

  • Noodle Drainer.

  • maybe you should rehearse your speech before you make a video for youtube

  • Animal abuse. What you Need is a Doctor. I don't mean a doktorfisch

  • It's important to note that Anemones will occasionally move around the tank, and they rarely end up where you want them. Clown fish will happily host in some corals....Frogspawn makes a great substitute anemone and is easier to care for (and stays where you put it).

  • rank tank. poor nemos

  • @12HENSON12 it's a holding container in his tank dumb fucking ass hole!

  • @12HENSON12 holding tank dumb ass!

  • They go into the anemone because there is no where to go. What are you thinking.

  • @kassblast Thats how you get them to recognize the anemone. Captive breds dont know what one is nor do they have a reason to host it.. What are you thinking?

  • the noodle strainer is called a collander.. the moar u know.

  • @cheekybastard99 *More.

  • The male can only become female, once female it can not change back, which is why if you have 2 females they will fight, because neither will submit, they don't just change to mate, one changes so they can coexist in the same area. Clowns don't need an anemone to host them either, some are okay with certain types of mushroom/toadstool corals, I have even seen it done with a koosh ball, but it's not necessary unless you want them to mate.

  • @woozel121 females can change back, it's just unlikley

  • @woozel121 females can change back

  • @RaffleReefer10 Females cannot change to males. Males can become female, but not the other way around. If they are both female one will kill the other eventually. In nature, clowns have a strict hierarchy. They are all born male, with the most dominant becoming a female. If the female should die, the dominant male becomes female. There is no reason for the female to become male...there are many more males waiting in the ranks for dominance.

  • just saying that the whole get a bigger and smaller clown fish thing isnt true. Clownfish will change their sex to mate. So if you have 2 males or 2 females on will change. get your facts right

  • @ae0smith For the most part it is. Sure one will change. But if you get a big one, its going to be more dominant, hence female.

  • The clown fish are the same size u can't put them in when there the same size they will kill one another. Have one bigger and one smaller females are bigger and males are smaller

  • Comment removed

  • @thebigeststarinsacto not true, they can be the same size. The more dominant will become female and grow larger... I have raised many sets of clowns from fry to mated pairs. Once the less dominant submits by “twitching" on its side the more dominant will stop the harassment.

  • You are being way to impatient, I've seen clowns take up to 8 months to host an anemone.

  • Called a strainer bro

  • @MyAppleReviewer

    Actually "bro"

    its called a Colander

  • thanks bro that help so much xD

  • @GENOCIDEHD seriously? can u just hop off already. I do my thing and u do your thing. It gets old...
