I think this song has more to do with the media and the people who buy into it than Michael Jackson. The media will air whatever sells whether it's lies or not, and the general public will believe the media whether they're lying or not. I felt a bit offended after MJ died just because all of a sudden it was cool to openly love MJ again. Everyone just floats downstream with the current, and no one asks questions. They just do as they're told.
