because it is... red was released after green in japan, and blue in america was the counterpart, while it was the third game in japan. that's why green wasn't released in the us
Funny how in the Japanese versions, the glitches just have random Japanese characters for names, but in the English versions they have garbage graphics, not even letters.
I beleive I'D be a great challenger for u =] it'd have to be a double battle though. but im not really up for battling right now =\ i just bred my team of lv 100s(NOT cheated) on my japanese diamond and im trying to train those to be on lv 100 so i can have my awesome japanese dream team of pokemon =] i could battle u later if u like =]
2008: Unsure at this point, upcoming CoroCoro magazine has a strong possibility of revealing the next Generation IV (the current generation of Pokemon) game.
PLEASE NOTE I ONLY INCLUDED MAIN GAMES IN THIS TIMELINE!
Ok, everyone talking about the order of games/authenticity of games, here is the OFFICIAL TIMELINE!
1996: Pocket Monsters Akai (Red) and Midori (Green) are released in Japan. A few months later, Pocket Monsters Aoi (Blue) is released.
1997/1998: Pocket Monsters Pikachyuu (Yellow) is released in Japan. Pokemon Red and Blue are released in the US, using the catch rates/areas of Akai and Midori, respectively, the Pokemon sprites, Cerulean/Unknown Dungeon and other dungeons of Aoi.
False, Aka and Ao can also be written with an "i". Pikachuu can also be written with a "y" as that is literally how it is written: ピカチュウ PIKACHYUU or PIKACHUU.
in japan the original pokemon games were pokemon Blue and pokemon Green
sales for pokemon Green were selling very low so ninteno made the game pokemon red and since the pokemon Green sales were so low they never brought it to the USA
You don't seem to know the truth behind this. First there were Red and Green in Japanese. After that they released Blue. I don't know which one came out first, the US Red and Blue or Jap. Blue, but this is the real way they went. And there is no official English Green, if somebody wondered about that.
well you must not read well because that what i said and some more
pokemon green is an OFFICIAL game just not an official US game AND pokemon green did not come to the US becuause sales were very low and pokemon BLUE came out because those sales were low TRUST ME i saw a tv show on this
the original games in japan were RED and GREEN. jeez. its not hard to understand. then blue came out as some mail order thing in japan. and the US changed green's name to blue and gave it blue's graphics as well. the map and area where pokemon appear is still the same though. then they released it as red and blue in the US. i HAVE japanese green and english blue.
Were these just single summon codes to get these glitches? I wonder why the glithces are so different in Green. If it's possible to get these in red or blue, how?
I heard years ago that "strange battles" (without gameshark) are triggered differently in the Japanese version and can DELETE the saved game unlike the missingno and 'm in the American version that rarely if ever even freezes the game.
I do have a gameshark, and I love messing up my Yellow and Red with it. However, I have not heard of these "strange battles". Perhaps they are memory hacks, like the way you try to summon 'M on Cinnibar without GS (American verson)? (I wonder what you get in Green when you do that.)
lol its because rhydon is the first 'valid' pokemon in the game, unlike the future games they didn't make bulbasaur first, they made rhydon but that was because they didn't know a good storyline yet and probably based it on big monsters first, interestingly the not fully evolveds come later in the code.
So it just reverts to rhydon or 001 for that game, thats probably why the d/p blank glitch has bulbasaur's cry because they made bulbasaur first then, but on r/b/g they made rhydon first.
is that how evolution looked in the original japanese games? Bizarre.

Why does green seem so glitchy compared to R/B/Y? .-.
