What I've always wondered....who were the band members? Great fiddle and steel work.....this was a really tight band. This 45 lit up a lot of Alberta jukeboxes back in 73 or so. I got a little head rush when I found this. And I didn't even inhale. ;-)

I bought the album this song is off of (Close to Home), thinking it was the American Alabama.

I love this album, but i couldn't find ANY information on it!

Now i know it's not the same Alabama lol

I've got this MP3 which I downloaded years ago from Napster. My version runs 2:24 & starts fading at about 2:20. The bridge is much shorter too. I had this song many moons ago on an 8 track of Truck Driving Songs, probably from K-Tel. It had a heavy Canadian content.

This is probably from the album version. I only have the 45. The radio station I worked for, destroyed most LPs. I do mean destroyed - they had no room. :-(
