  • what a song mysond little girl friend talula

  • Glad to see this vid has no dislikes, I couldn't imagine of a fool not liking this performance! :)

  • I love it at @ 1:49 when the extra stuff comes in and it shows the guitar guy and the crowd goes wild.

  • Tori Amos is a musical genious and a GODDESS.

I wish I could've seen her during the Boys For Pele era.

She's still perfect even after all these years!

  • prachtig :)

  • i was there too!! AMAZING

  • i remember the very night this came on tv. i taped it and played it everyday there after for months.... she's incredible.

  • My God, I was there............. third row on the right. It was one of the best nights of my life. I've seen her live almost forty times since..........

  • Stupids? You know, not everything she writes and performs is about rape and abortions. I am getting extremely sick of people trying to exploit the whole rape and miscarriage aspect. Everyone is entitled to their own interpretation...but it certainly shouldn't be at the expense of others and your own integrity. Get it togther my friend.

  • I feel so bad now...

  • I respect your feelings as a woman..

  • I love Tori she is so amazing... lol i was only 4 when this was happening. I woud LOVE to meet her. I really admire her.

  • @dramaqueen412 she is very easy to meet, just show up early to one of her shows. she usually takes the time to meet and greet her loyal fans. very few artist out there that give so much back to their fans.

  • i will meet this woman someday!!

  • And when you do her aura glows with an ambiance of inspiration, the breath of life. I am lucky to have met her at such a young age, 19. She was gracious. So very intrinsically kind.

  • never got to see talula live before. definitely amazing. i miss those days.

  • teardwnyuridolz...do you also miss "theold Tori" sometimes?

  • I have no idea what this song is about, and don't care.

Slinky rocker. Wow. No wonder they're screaming. Thanx EEE.

  • It's about her anger towards Eric Rosse. Sounds like he might have a bit of a gal problem. (hard to hide a hundred girls in your hair)

  • Well, I believe this song is linked to the circumstances surrounding her and Eric's relationship, however it extends far out into more comprehensive feminist statements.

  • as ALL her songs do.

  • Yes, but your missing my point. You made a totalizing claim about Talula meaning singularly "anger towards Eric Rosse" when, in actuality, Talula covers a more comprehensive set of feminist statements, with historical and religious imagery. More so than other songs which cover singular feminist concepts. I was extending the meaning, not denouncing it. No need to become so defensive.

  • Well, create your own interpretation, T does not mind, at all.

  • @BoysForPele1989 so you haven't read the lyrics for purple people :D

  • thanks!! i love this performance, especially when the beat starts :)

  • thank you!!
