thank you so much for this video, i had the same problem of modem stopping to work after 3 4 days. are you sure that when we select manual and channel 11 it will continue to work? anyway now its working. and do we need to change the security to wifi protected access? is 64bit enough?

@manuramesan 64 bit i mentioned for ease of configuration, u can use wpa, wpa2 or mixed mode also. this will give more security

Hello mate fanks for this very nice and informative piece of video, I have a question for you abt it that when I try to connect Micromax and iPod Touch with the conection they won't connect for some strange reason. I tried to change the passkey but still the same problem remains and the stranger thing is that the Wi-Fi is working fine with Lenovo Lappy and hTc Wildfire but not with Dell Inspiron N5010 (Windows 7) Any idea about any of these things my friend?

@YogeshPatriot u cannot change the username given by bsnl, but u can change the password given by bsnl by login to (data.bsnl.in)after that u have to change the pwd inside the modem also. wifi u can turn on and off by pressing the button near to pwr button(u need to hold it for 2-3 secs) or login to modem click on configurations then wirelessnetwork, there u can enable/disable wireless, passphrase also u can change at there itself

admin password is changable and isp password also changable. but u cannot change both the usernames

Hi, I am really pissed off using this router. I am badly stuck on port forwarding.

As I am not new to it but this one shows everything alright but not opens the forwarded port on wan side. I am sure the device connected and accessible on

LAN with forwarded port. any go through? Help appreciated!

@shankarshaa please goto security-> virtual server then click edit on the interface(pppoe_0_35) , there u type ur LAN ip address. that pc u can access from anywhere using ur WAN IP address
