i really like the picks of fluellen and avril, i think these are both players who could be seeing considerable time later in the season. (especially if we keep playing like we are, we should start getting readdy for next season now.) to be honest, i am not too happy with others. i would have liked to see otah or clady instead of cherilus. but then that would mean no smith.. i initially wanted to see mendenhall go to detroit so bad it hurt, but i guess o-line was more important...

it seems to me that the lions front office thinks they're smarter than the rest of the league....uh....not! THE FORDS NEED TO FIRE EVERYBODY(front office of course)this team is in serious need of an identity. leadership starts at the top. if this so called genius new football, they would now the game start at the trenches, ie, offensive line and defensive line. the lions offensive line have been mediocre at best. the days of lomas brown and kevin glover is the ticket! we get that again...wow!

I have been Lions football since I was a kid and it is always the same thing every year. "This is our year!" Even with a 6-2 start the Lions can fall to mediocrity at any time. Sorry folks, but even with a "great" draft which is arguable, the Lions still fail.

i would say 04 season......this season....the team was horrible at every coaching position.....we have two guys as the offensive coordinator...our superstars are all bucs wash ups......and or practice cuts from other teams......roy williams is ONE AND ONLY good player..maybe simms aswell....but...roy for sure

I have to agree with you there. Millen finally drafts for need and people still rip him for it. Makes no sense. I think our Lions have had some great drafts the last 2 or 3 years. Especially picking up some good defensive players that coach Rod likes.
