but as you said a musician wants to express feelings through music and when he/she is good at it, then you call him/her a pro. Jhon here is not doing a great job at it, I mean, it looks like he's having fun but it doen't sound good enough, and when it doesn't sound good that just means you don't know how express that feeling, conclusion you're not good enough

Please also take note of the environment, that there is very little emotion involved, he is talking about guitar technique. Then notice that he is not jamming for fun, or any reason besides teaching. Looking at it from this new informed perspective, that was one of the most vividly emotional guitar instructions I have ever seen. refer: 6:32
