@msjeneemaree I don't see what Tiger changing his swing so many times has to do with anything. I agree Tiger is a great player just not as good as Nicklaus. As for Watson not winning no, he didn't but he led "the greatest test in golf" for 4 days and almost won and remember , did beat most in the field. Now I ask you this . in my life I have seen a better golfer Jack Nicklaus. Niklaus faced much better competition . If you think not then how in the hell did a 60 year old Watson lead the British for 4 days last year and almost win? Ask yourself this. If jack were playing today with todays equipment and against todays players would he have as many majors as Tiger? And ask the same of Tiger if he played in Jacks time . I would venture a yes to the first question and a no to the second.

@rosieaasful give me a break...you're living in the past my friend. The PGA tour is much more competitive than it was back in the day. Jack Nicklaus was the man but Tiger is the best to ever play the game...PERIOD! I mean the guy has changed his swing 4 or 5 times. As far as the Watson comment... First of all he didn't win and secondly the guy is a hall of famer which means he's pretty damn good. Tiger will break Jacks major record and Snead's career win record...EASILY!!!!!

@msjeneemaree I agree completely, I think Tiger Woods is indisputably the greatest all around golfer of all time, and I believe he will no doubt break Nicklaus' record. I certainly do not mean to demean Jack Nicklaus either, but one reason so many people think that he is the best is because of the amazing comebacks he had, in 7 of his 18 major wins he was down at the beginning of the final round, watching him come back was magical, but no one has dominated every aspect of the game like Woods.

tiger says himself that number 9 is his greatest shot ever. 3 iron, fairway bunker, ball well below his feet and he has to get the ball over the lip and over the trees. lands within 20 feet and he drained the putt. nobody else could do that

I remember the shot that he made at the master I had been playing golf for my high school for a year and it inspired me I went from 106 average my freshman year and averaged 71.2 my senior year. Thanks Tiger.

i remember i was watching tv, and they were talking about the #1 moment (16th at Augusta chip in) and one guy said, "He actually chunked that shot and got lucky, I was there at Augusta and was standing behind him while he hit it". That guy must have been mentally handicapped.
