I remember watching this when it was shown on CITV back in December 1996. Was this the final episode of that season?

I really couldn't tell you that, as it was 12 years ago, but I can tell you this episode of Sooty & Co was 30 minutes long, it also had an ad-break during the programme which was unusual at the time.
