  • i bet this horse is happier than most (european) dressage horses who can´t open their mouth picause cavessons.

  • beautiful desplay of western dressage with a spanish flaire. curb bit riding is alot of training on the ground and round pen so small cues are all it takes so you hardly use the curb hence a happy mouth. It is not english dressage so engagement is different can't compare

  • I love Renegade! Thank you for posting the video! And when you get the response on how to keep a horse "happy in it's mouth", please let me know...I asked my horses how to do that and they didn't answer me.

  • I like the idea..but unfortunately not impressed. o_O The horse is moving off the forehand with his hindend strung out behind him. The Morgan naturally has a high neck/head carriage and is, like the Arab and other like breeds, naturally more animated. I don't see anything extraordinary here. -shrug-

But obviously it's working to get him places. Hahah.

  • ...now do this with the horse happy in it's mouth, not gaping open.

  • Good point. Perhaps you should let Eitan know. I was a mere observer. How do you keep a horse happy in his mouth?
