  • The song is called Tango Negro. Album: Quartango, Macadam Tango.

  • ...this is so much more beautiful, subtle and connected than those flashy show dances...I love the fact that the older man is the master of this form, and the young woman is so gracefully following his lead...tango with heart...

  • Beautiful foot work.

  • What song is this? (It's for a project)

  • What is this song called and who is the artist? Brilliant dance!

  • @simonlow2002 Hi Si, is it you? I posted this clip...reminds me of the 'real' tango from when I used to dance...xxx Janie in Wales

  • @simonlow2002 Tango Negro/by CarlosCaceres

  • Tango Negro/by CarlosCaceres

  • Love this so much. Can anyone tell me what the music is and who is singing?

  • her heels look like theyre about to snap ! amazing control

  • The best milonga i've ever seen!

  • Argentina's Tango/Milonga: Pure Class. To think that a generation ago in Argentina it almost disappeared due to the military dictatorship's strict assembly bans. This dance form is at the heart of the culture of the Pampas of Argentina, Uruguay, and the gaúcho country of Rio Grande do Sul in Brasil.

  • The best I have ever seen.

  • Harmonie between 2 person

  • it is very nice

  • MILONGA PERFECTA

  • amazing over and over I am watching it, and honestly this is for me the TOP out of all couple dance I ever seen in my life!

  • What is this? I mean how they can do this!

  • I watched this several time. Love Luna's girly figure and her amazing feet, from tiny steps to giant steps. Subtle changes in direction, etc. Must not left out Dani's powerful lead. Major regret of this 240p video. Is there a higher resolution?

  • @kw0s This was filmed with a digital photo camera, and it is the one-and-only resolution.

  • @cigall Thanks for the reply.

  • Bravo. Love her dancing feet.

  • This a "Candonbe", not a “Milonga"

  • @jokerimage If you mean 'Candombe' there is very little resemblance, it's a Milonga. Candombe is mostly African drum music with a rhythm more close to a Samba. Candombe, Milonga & Tango have roots from Africa but not to the extent that candombe has.

  • I love this video. I've watched it several times. I love the special moves they put into their dance. (One is around 1:30). They continue to amaze me. I also liked the tiny, circular moves they were doing at the end of the video. Thanks for uploading this.

  • wowww, it is amazing!!!

  • I love that videos of dancers made my dancers always zoom in on the feet when the couple comes close. When you see dancing on TV, they zoom in on their faces - as if we care about their make up!

  • Smooth!

  • perfeito!!!!!

  • sympa!!!

  • THE BEAUTY OF DANCE !!!! Two bodies - one soul :)

  • who is the lady? Is she a teacher?

  • @Flypsilon2002 Her name is Luna Palacios. I don't know if she is a teacher. Maybe if you google her name there may be some information about her. If you click in "Show more" underneath this video you will see the following note:= Show at a milonga in Buenos Aires; amazing dancing by Dani Garcia and Luna Palacios. If you wish to see the rest of the dance, it is in my list of videos: "Argentine Tango/Milonga--Grand Finale".

  • @basquill1

  • Loved how he totally lead her and blocked her at 1:02, actually their moves are sick all together.

  • QUE MILONGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, POR DIOSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

  • krass!

  • krass!

  • krass!

  • TANGO NEGRO!sexy, soooooo sexy, flirting on the dance floor, love ARGENTINE BECAUSE OF TANGO!just wondering----Is this Argentina's normal life?dancing, watching dancing? enjoying dancing?

  • @zhoma982 yes, after all we love enjoying life

  • Love the music and the dance. The rhythm is almost Samba so again you can here the African roots coming out. Milongo me gusto mucho

  • @kanakaken Actually this is an Uruguayan song, there the african roots are more evident than here in argentina but we do have them too. This type of music is called Cambombe and there's an argentine candombe, brasilian candombe and the uruguayan candombe which is the one that people know best and in my opinion it's the better one to listen and dance :). Cheers

  • @laleli88 what do you mean by, "This is an Uruguayan song" ? Juan Carlos Caceres The writer of 'Tango Negro' was born in BA, Argentina. Also African roots are evident in almost all Latin American music. Perhaps there is a slight argument, for want of an argument, that because he wrote it in France, it's therefore a French song. I wouldn't argue THAT point though. It really doesn't matter though for in reality all this genre is of The Rio de La Plata.

  • @kanakaken My bad, I ment that it was an uruguayan style of candombe song. I wrote it too fast without thinking.

  • @kanakaken It's not that easy to write fast in english when in your head you think in spanish :) And no... the real music of peru and bolivia doesn't have african roots. With all due respect, we are not all the same, we share language but even in one country you can find more than one culture. I thought you would know that since you are Australian, another country made of inmigration. (And yes tango/candombe/milonga it's rioplatense).

  • @laleli88 Hola,Yo tengo la misma problema con espanol- but worse than you, your English is very good.

I know indigenous music doesn't have African roots that's why I said "almost all Latin American music" & I wasn't insinuating you're all the same. Peru has less than 150 languages left over from more than 300. The most multicultural country I have been to is Papua New Guinea where they speak 700 languages & more than 2000 dialects with a population of only near 4 million. Muchos saludos.

  • @kanakaken :) Wow... 700 languages, that's crazy. I'm sorry if I overreacted. Greets

  • @laleli88 No hay problema ! Another island nation, Vanuatu, used to have a population close to a million with 140 different languages, now with a population of about 250,000 speak only 86 languages. The Aborigines of Australia now speak less than 150 languages but used to have about 400 to 500. Australia is so multilingual, we broadcast in 140 languages on the radio & TV. In our family we speak English, Spanish & Melanesian Pigin. Saludos.

  • Love this.

  • Esos pies se mueven como mantequilla!!! ..... Que rico bailan la milonga!!!!! Buenisimo!!!

  • great traditional argentine tango, but check out "stunning masters tango 2011" for a real story how the man teases the lady and she wins in the end

  • Tango dancing is just sex in fancy shoes....

  • I know nothing about dancing .. but when i see this video I can feel the chemistry between them ;)

  • Now I have to buy a Tux

  • I love it...I could watch for hours!!

  • So pure and lively! Muito obrigada

  • Famoso maestro y milonguero El Fleco.

    es una verdadera milonga bruja

  • i've seen it 20 times and i still can't get enough of it. this is the true essence of milonga.

  • @13hehe Yes, the lady =)

  • @Lolatangomilonga ah! you're both so talented, and how lucky to have danced with this man :) i'm just getting introduced to Tango, it's so subtle and challenging, also there seems to be all sorts of styles on the internet, it's hard to differentiate

  • I love this!!!!What is the song????

  • @castillomark

Hi, the song is "Tango Negro" by Juan-Carlos Caceres :)

  • Es esto que llamo de "bailar bien"!!!

  • Amazing...what a beauty !!!!

  • WOW!! que delicia!

  • This is not a tango, or a milonga. It's a CANDOMBE.

Candombe is a Uruguayan musical rhythm as the milonga.

Tango is RIOPLATENSE (Argentina / Uruguay) born in URUGUAY.

Look this video and remove doubts

"Origen del tango - Origin of the tango - Todo Tango Uruguayo - Channel all Uruguayan Tango "

  • HERMOSOS!

  • Es es baile......

  • itsn't tango!!

  • @RUSAPETI is Milonga!!

  • just amazing

  • my god that must be so hard to lead...

  • hienoa - excellent : Erkki from Finnland

  • realmente hermoso!!!!!!!!!!!

  • these two are simply wonderful

  • Exelente !

  • Ist this tango? It's lambada!!!

    =P

  • So awesome. Makes one's heart dance to hear this and the soul sing to watch!

  • I have only one word AMAZING!!They are both amazing...

  • flort13 You're right the Milonga is very dynamic and I also like the music.

Thank you very very much for your help and information but jchung8100 replied that this song is from the album "Toca Tango" from Juan Carlos Caceres. I do not who I can believe but I will look by Google for Juan Carlos Caceres and Ulpian Vergara.

    Thank you!!

  • Really amazing! They make a execellente couple.

  • Really amazing))))

  • theres great chemistry between them , its a joy to watch

  • This couple is very special. The music is different of those classics tango music. I like the dance and also the music. What is the name of this song en where can I buy it in Holland (Europe).

  • @CILY47

The song is "Tango Negro" by Juan Carlos Caceres from his album "Toca Tango". Google it and you should be able to find a place to buy it.

  • @CILY47 the first thing you should know is that this is not tango is a dance called milonga wich is sort of a sister of tango... lyrics of tango are melancolic and pasionate but the lyrics of the milongas are spicy and more cheerfull...and obviously the rhythm it's totally diferent and consequently the dance it's also diferent..

the song it's called "tango negro" wich means "black tango" by Ulpiano Vergara i hope that helps you to find it..

  • one of the most beautiful dance expression that I ever have seen !! Very very good !!!

  • @87044078 If you think this dance is good you should see Derek Hough dance! He is all over youtube, so it should not be hard to find a video of him or just search for Derek and Nicole.

  • spellbinding! I wish I could dance like that.!

  • I love this dance and song, because it includes the SLAVES MUSIC that the AFRICAN IMMIGRANTS brought to our ARGENTINA when they tried to scape slavary from BRASIL! Argentina never had black people as SALVES! CANDOMBE NEGRO IS THE AFRICAN PEOPLE GIFT TO ARGENTINA

  • @lsophial I appreciate your thought's about tango, Argentina and black people but let me tell you: slavery was partially abolished here in 1813 only for new born people and totaly in 1853's Argentina's Constitution. You are right about placing candombe in tango's roots but candombe is more from Uruguay than Argentina. Tango´s origin is a much more complex combination of cultures brought by immigrants AND african rythms. Argentina is a wonderful mixture of these cultures. (C, from Buenos Aires)

  • WOW her feet look like pretzels sometimes and old man can move!

  • I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dancing with the Stars you are not! Sorry. Not that good. :(

  • @Herbiesmom56 -- those dancers on Dancing with the Stars have no idea how to dance Argentine Tango let alone milonga -- you can't compare authentic dancing with stage tango for TV.

  • @Herbiesmom56

You must not know the real skill involved in Argentine Tango. What they are doing is not only beautiful but masterful! Dancing with the stars can be fun to watch, but it takes away what really makes each dance so unique and adds a bunch of flash, flare, smokes and screen to make it entertaining to the masses who watch.

Glad you get enjoyment out of Dancing with the Stars though - we all have different tastes.

  • This is not a milnga, this is a candombe, a music from Uruguay...

  • i love the way her hips move and twist, and how even the twirl is very closed in. love how close they dance :)

  • Awesome! this is why milonga is my favorite..so alive!
