I think Epiphones are decent, just change the pick ups. The dot is one of my favorites for playing live. I put 57 classics in this one. The only thing I don't like is the nick is kinda thick. But for $300, I'll live with it.

damn, im 20 love ten years after and alvin lee, and was wondering if i should get the dot. I keep forgeting epi's are just fantasic guitars for the money. I will be definitely getting this guitar, you have proved to me it's worth getting.

Cracking job Gatner! I always loved Alex Lifeson's sound with 335/355's. I had an ibanez semi-acoustic, but couldn't control the feedback very well with distortion. Keep up the great work!
