  • That house has 2 garages! and nice driveways. I wouldn't expect anything less...

  • Awesome tree inside the tree!

  • Beautiful house, wish I had one that nice.

  • no fence but the snow is missing, not christmas like at all...

  • slayer metal christmas is way cooler ^^

  • what a bunch of tossers messages on hold are! They are not in this to help the children's hospital - only self-promotion for that fat smug b****** Kym Illman. He would not know the meaning of the word charity! After all he once asked an employee to contact the Red Nose Foundation & ask them for a discount when purchasing Red Noses - erm... doesn't a charity need all the money it can get - a charity wouldn't give discounts - what a dickhead!

  • amazing......wow!!!!!!!

  • Santa Claus: Hail! :P

  • ur sick

  • Fantastic!! Best Christmas lights I've seen in Australia.

  • wow! amazing quality.

  • Alright, anyone have an idea how much it costs to get this set up on a house like that? Estimate? Please don't harass me on the possible power bill. :)

  • amazing video. great quality. it was the perfect time to find out that youtube now has 1080p support.

  • Too bad you don't have snow :( it still looks great!!!!!

  • Hi TonyaI,

Truly amazing setup. The Video Camera brings out the best... but I am sure it does not do justice to the display. What Video Camera are you using for your display?

  • SOLAR POWER!

  • Hi, we are moving to Quinns Rock, Perth from the UK next week. Where is your amazing house and we will bring our four year old to see them. She is obsessed by this video

  • I think its phenominal what people can do with christmas lights these days. I think its even better when people use them with their sound systems. If I had a sound system, I would try to do run a sound system with christmas lights.

  • this probably annoys the hell out of the nieghbors

  • bryan k today i love it plus christmas lights awesome

  • bryan k today i love it plus christmas lights awesome sex lights

  • I was wondering if you used the Gemmy lighting controller and their lights?

  • Hey Tonyal - Are you able to advise what and/or where you got those 8 christmas trees in your driveway which show different colours - i.e. blue and white.........

What are they called, and where did you get them?

  • That is something!

  • Hallo Kym, Hallo Tonya.

Thank you for sharing your video. We are a family of four living nearly 8700 miles away and its just amazing to watch your display. We love the tasteful setup and the great charity idea behind it. Heartily regards from Germany.

  • WOW....a fantastic job....How is this all done as I would like to do this to my house here in Canada.....where we have snow

  • I am an American who is now living in Perth. I am going to have to look for this house this Christmas. GREAT job!

  • Absolutely Beautiful So clean and so stunning. Love all of your effects. Very well thought out and very beautiful.

    Happy Decorating..

  • Awesome :D

  • so i love it!

    but the song sucksss,

you should try some Trans-Siberian Orchestra :)

  • @sriontube, adding to Tonyal's comments in regards to power usage, leds use far less power than conventional lights, and due to the fact a LOT of hard work is put into the sequencing of this show the lights come ON and OFF to the music and are not constantly on as most shows are....just as many lights on constantly draws more power than sequenced shows

    *****

    Hello from France

  • Clean Lines,, uncluttered, Extremely well done, possibly the best I've seen this season, and a great video, Thanks for your efforts

  • Very beautiful video !

  • God god, it's so pretty!

  • ive been twice really amazing well done mate

  • Can someone please post a donation link?

  • Great job on lights! Have a merry Christmas!!

  • What equipment do you use to do this show ?

  • love it!!!! Went and saw the show back in 2007 and want to go back this year!

  • Thats so amazing!

  • Strolled past it on Thursday night with the kids - Kym & Tonya were there dishing out lollies, politely eeking money out of passers by with luminous buckets. The show is even better in real life; and I was moved to congratulate everyone involved with a blog post. Well done everyone! Inspiring stuff.

  • beautifull :)

  • My option only.... it looks better from a stationary camera angle.

  • Love it! Congrats!

  • no offense, but check your carbon print for the holiday season.

  • good point, but this family raised $22,000 last year for charity by asking drivers-by for donations. this year they hope to reach $30,000. i think that more than makes up for their footprint.

  • I really appreciate their charity work.

  • Let's think about that. It uses about $6/night in power. Hundreds of locals walking over to our home nightly aren't running their plasmas and air con units. Saving - $30/night. It doesn't take a mental giant to work out, the nett energy effect is positive, but the real benefit is the pure joy on adults' AND children's faces. Turn your plasma and air con unit off and walk over one night, Starburst will even stump up for a free lollipop for you!

  • I meant to say in general to every one who are inspired by you and try to light up their homes, more than what they generally do.

Hundreds of locals walking to your home to see those lights, will go home and try to decorate their homes, but no one comes to see their home, even the home owners wont see their lighting every day, though they are all glowing bright outside. They still sit inside and watch TV (either plasma or ordinary)

  • @TonyaI pure joy on adults' AND children's faces all over the world as well, thanks for taking the time to edit such professional and high quality video and of course the time spent on setting up the lights, Merry Christmas

  • @TonyaI - er - what the hell is a "mental giant" anyway - you fat stupid husband?

  • Awesome job Tonyal. Quick question, I have 2 *16 channel controllers (nothing close to yours :) ) I find the hardest part is all of the extension cords. Since you have way more channels, how do you manage all the cables that run back to the controllers?

  • cable ties, lots of them

  • this is awesome, and you're raising money too... that's great

  • Search amazing perth christmas lights 2009 for this year's video - it's stunning quality!

  • its really fantastic ! I love it ! by the way, could you tell me which is called the software you use yo synchronize the xmas lights with the music ?

  • Lightorama

  • great job mate

  • Love it!! Stunning night vision...

  • Brilliant!!!

  • 这灯牛B,有钱人。

  • Wow. You have really outdone yourself this year.

The clarity of the video is amazing.
