Another headlock escape would be to put your outside leg in front of his leg then put your other behind both of his legs. Once you do that then you pull his far side hip and that will trip him leaving you on top in a mounted position.

@mitsubishidiamante only really stupid bouncers use a headlock. Most likely they will use a guillotine chocke or twist your arm.

@reafdaw01 I know theres a lot of way to escape a headlock, hitting the groin, pick them up and slam them. But I am confident I can break a man my size within 10 seconds as soon as I get him in a headlock

@fuckingkimura It all dependes on the skills of the one in the headlock. If he knows what to do and reacts fast enough, the headlock will always backfire. 10 secondes are more than enough time to react. But if the other guy is pissed and has no qcq training it works fine.

@fuckingkimura Don't see how that matters. Yes I have done quite some training in Krav Maga and we train for headlocks regularly and I can get out of them even if my partner is much bigger. The important thing is just to realize quick enough what is happening. A lot of guy don't realize what's going on and want to fight against the arm that is squeezing which will never work. It also depends: in a school yard a headlock isn't that big of a deal, hitting in the balls or going for the eyes is.

i always assume that these moves wouldn't work in real life because the assistant isn't fighting back. But Sub.101 always makes me think twice. The assistant always looks as if he is in some real pain, even though its a demonstration.

@TheSkoolNINjaz every move shown are techniques I've used many times over the last 16 years in the security business. All dvd techniques have to be done in a controlled manner or the assistants would sustain real, permanent injuries. we try and show it with as much real intent as possible (therefore some pain is involved :-)

@Submissions101 Hey, I've seen quite a few headlock escapes, maybe even some from your previous vids. I'm not so sure, however, show us how to escape from one where the assailant has a really good crank on the head and is dipping it downwards tightly, thanks.
