please can someone help me ... ? i have this exact model. the helicopter seems to charge fine, when i come to fly it i can only get it about a meter off the ground and then the copter just stops and cuts out the blue light flashes faster than normal. i've tried looking everywhere for this problem and an answer but cant find one so please can someone help me ! thankyou to whoever replies with an answer ! :)

that happens to mine when I find the floor a bit too often. check the tail rotor...if you take it off there's probably hair etc. trapped between the rotor and the boom. Clean it up because it slows the rotor down too much to be corrected by trimming and results in the spinning. That's what I reckon without seeing it anyway. It's worth checking the main rotor for hair and fluff occasionally too. Hope that helps.

What's with all these people saying it just spins outta control? Did you take a blow to the head? Get it up to about 1m off the ground, wild oscillations or not, and adjust the trim until it works. I mean... seriously. If the tail spins counter-clock, adjust right, if it spins clockwise... wait for it... adjust left. Easy. Might wanna check no pet or girlfriend hair is wrapped arounf the axle of the rotor too. I was feelig retarded too until I sat down, thought about it and checked the axle.

The oppertunity to adjust the trim never happens as as soon as its airborne its off usually crashing into a wall or something?

I'm aware most newbies over control the heli and are heavy on the controls, but even when I'm using the lightest of touches its just impossible????

Practice.

Dont worry about it spinning or the trim, learn to hover, keep it off the ground and from smacking the ceiling.

Now get used to the controls, with out any trim u should be able to st8n it out even if it requires giving it full left or right. Once u get the feel for that, and know what to look for(as in flying st8) mess with the trim.

Lastly, I learned if u try to master left turns 1st (rt turns r the easiest) in the process youll learn to keep it stable. Oh, and check out my vids

Don't put a screw in it! You might hit the Lithium Polymer battery and that is bad! It could explode. Use tape and paperclips.

Yes way and unless you consider 1/4inch far away the Lipo is pretty close to the nose. If you really need the extra weight on the nose, insert the screw/clip/what ever from the bottom pointing up at the very tip. Puncturing a lipo is VERY dangerous. At the very least it will kill the battery, and if you do puncture it & try to charge it, the pack will expand until it ruptures and spit out a ball of fire. I to denied it at 1st but this is very real. See for your self, search LiPo Fire on youtube.

Just add a little weight to the nose. Tape or thumbtacks, stuff like that. Holding your heading will cause forward flight. The more weight, the more speed. To a point. Good luck!

I have seen these heli's made by Air-Hogs. But Air-Hogs makes at least one other kind of heli that sells at Wal-Mart. That one has counter-rotating main blades. There are about 20 knock-offs of this toy. I have about 6 makers worth of them. The best one I have is one I bought in a cheap discount cell-phone store at my local shopping mall. Genericaly labeled "Worlds Smallest RC Helicopter!"...lol
