How good are Sennheiser HD408's? That's the pair I happen to find myself with right now; how do *they* compare? Just wondering, as I'm not much of an audiophile.
my Sennheiser HD650 make all your headphones sound crap. they go down to 10Hz! you can't even hear bass that low! you just get a head massage from the vibrations.
i have a pair of $300 Dr Beats. Easily trumps Skull candy. Companies too cheap to fix those fucked up skinny cords that literally snap if you move them wrong.

@GAMEA1 I tried beats, they were too muddy with the bass that knocks out the mids and highs. Also, you're paying more for the name and less quality for the headphones. I've got some V-Modas recently that are 127 bucks and they are the most robust hi-quality headphones I've had in a while.

I just don't even see this as the same genre as the bands I mentioned. so i don't even know why i made the comparison in the first place. Now i think skrillex etc. should be labeled as new dubstep and not just dubstep. and this band certainly doesn't suck they just aren't my taste.

@BlueFreq and also incredibly inconvenient... yes it may have greater fidelity and if I can I buy CDs for lossless quality but vinyl is just a step too far for someone who listens to as much music as I do, if I bought everything I have on vinyl it would probably cost in excess of several thousand pounds, not to mention the fact you just cannot get much of my music on vinyl... it's soon to be a dead format I'm guessing...
