Sonny Okosun is the most detribalized Nigerian I have met. He shared that attribute wt the great Zik of Africa, Adegoke Adelabu, Adeniran Ogunsanya and Alh Bagudu (BCC) of Nupeland. I guess God spared Nigeria of some more oddities after the Civil War because of them and their legacies. Sunny is a tall monument, take it or leave it!

Sonny Okosun is an icon in the world stage of music. He should be producing most of these younger generation artists. He's well experieced in musical arena. I fell in love with his music and style when he joined forces with Eddy Grant in 1978/1979 in Lagos. This particular song came out shortly afterward. Eddy also produced "WIPE MO NFE E and IFE TI MO MO TI TAN" at the time.
