any help with the Ipad 2 that has a dead battery and will not re-charge. tried charging from the computer, the wall outlet, and no luck turning back on. if I can get it to recharge I will perform these battery saving recommendations.
@freemarlochip Thank you for your feedback. I apologize if my video was a bit confusing. Actually, every tip I give here is separate, and the instructions should not be followed as if they were step-by-step. In this case, Fetch would only need to be turned off if Wi-Fi or 3G is turned on. Hope that clears it up. Thanks again.
What about when you double tap the home button and then those apps appear, you just hold one of the apps down and press the kinda minus button on all of them then your iPad won't be multitasking, but don't "minus" them if you want to multitask with the apps
@meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee916 Actually, I could see how it might be confusing if you don't have an iPad 2 in hand. While the volume icon is to the left of the slider I dragged, it has nothing to do with the slider. I really did adjust the brightness. If you touch that volume icon, you can turn Mute on or off. Hope that clears it up for you. Thank you for your feedback.
Your video really helped me out but, call me picky but, you kept going out of settings when you didn't need to since some of the changes you were talking about were in there.. Greaat video though! ;) :)
@Saamsify Glad I was able to help. You are right, I definitely could have stayed in the Setting screen. However, I wanted to make sure I showed how to perform each procedure step-by-step from the very beginning. My Survival Guides are very similar to this. Basically, I think repetition is better than explaining too little, which is what most manual writers fail to realize.
@Krullie1987 Little known fact: Wi-Fi is not turned off when you put the iPad in Airplane Mode, however unintuitive that may sound (try it!). Therefore, turning off both mobile networks and Wi-Fi connections ensures that all wireless communications are turned off. Alternately, you could turn Airplane Mode on and turn off Wi-Fi, but that would take you the same amount of time. Nevertheless, an excellent question!
@Krullie1987 Allow me to clarify that a little further. Wi-Fi may still be turned on even when Airplane Mode is enabled. In addition, the purpose of this video was to show you how to turn off each of these features separately in an attempt to be more informative. What if you want to keep Wi-Fi on but not use any of your 3G data by keeping Cellular Data communications on? Then you can just turn your Cell Data off. Hope that clears things up.
When I turn on the airplane mode, Wi-Fi is automaticly switched off. However, I'm able to turn on Wi-Fi manually and still use it when I'm in airplane mode.
My iPad is Wi-Fi only and runs on Apple's latest iOS.

why would you need to turn off FETCH for email if you already have the network and wifi off?

You decreased the volume... Not the brightness

Why don't you use the airplane mode instead?
