  • this isnt any quicker than a square head spud shovel, you take 3 courses of each time walking right to left, id blow away this guy

  • the claw end of a hammer works for ripping shakes better than anything else I've tried, and a Shing-go works best for shingles. There's no getting around nails in the deck with shake tear-offs.

  • he's taking off cedar shake, you can tell by the dust. cedar shake sucks too remove and there is no easy way to do it but this looks somewhat effective.
