Really no point... you're not listening.. but for my own amusement. Moral standards are man made and evolve... hence many of the things "god" did in the old testament have been in retrospect seen to be cruel and tyrannical. Proving both that he is a tyrant and that morals are not god given.

You presuppose that hell in fact is not real. If the Bible is true and is accurate in its description of hell, then it is a loving thing to warn people about it.

That absolute authority (God) would logically be perfectly obedient towards those moral principles which He has established.

Even given all of those stars and galaxies, numerical statistics still give the chances for life evolving to be 1 in 10^2040 power. For perspective, there is estimated to be 10^80 atoms in the known universe. That life even exists here is a major thing, it really isn't reasonable to assume that it happened elsewhere. @ndyt Here it depends on what you will accept as proof. The laws of logic allow for us to evaluate statements for falsehoods. Science allows us to delve into the laws that govern how nature operates. Each method has its own domain of operation. It is not difficult to show through logic and current scientific knowledge that God must exist. But I already know that the argument will come down to you denying the laws of science or/and logical and rational thought. I'm willing to prove my point.

getting rid of the law was the problem firstly. We have laws here in my State but I am not under the surse of them, nor am I haunted by them, we keep then because we want to. The law was given to set us free as well, as Jesus to wash when we fall short. God made no mistake when writing the law. I have always told people that following Jesus is the hardest thing you will ever do. I also teach them to keep the law until you fall short then to ask Jesus to wash you when you fail.
I reconcile it with a loving God by knowing that if God loves, He must punish evil. If God loves a rape victim, He must punish a rape victim who lives his life and dies w/o getting caught.
If God is almighty, all powerful, can do anything, and all that... can he create a rock so big and heavy that he himself cannot lift it? If he can he can't do anything and he's not almighty, same goes if he can't. A child can figure it out.

Christian faith is a burden, it will bring discomfort and humiliation, faith will NOT bring you peace, joy, love, fulfillment or LASTING happiness (an eternity after death seams lasting, so... no one is happy in heaven...) It's not about feeling sorry for Jesus or God or whether or not He has friends. He cares for us. We don't "need" our family, but they're there and we care for them unconditionally and we love them and we would die for them. He did that for us to show us His just side. There are a lot of things that we can't prove scientifically (let's say, as an example, the sky is blue). We had no idea that the sky was blue until the scientific research came out.
Does that mean that it wasn't blue before it was proven to be so? Does that mean that before we know something to be true, it isn't? Just because you can't see Him now doesn't necessarily mean He doesn't exist. If He is who He says He is, why should He show Himself? Why should He have to prove Himself?
Why did he bother turning up in the first place then? We can prove how the sky turns blue - and many other colours - with science. And guess what, wasn't that kind of 'scientific research' the stuff you would always suppress?

Really no point... you're not listening.. but for my own amusement. Moral standards are man made and evolve... hence many of the things "god" did in the old testament have been in retrospect seen to be cruel and tyrannical. Proving both that he is a tyrant and that morals are not god given.

That absolute authority (God) would logically be perfectly obedient towards those moral principles which He has established.

It took me so much time and for me to believe so I studied all day and everyday, many times I felt like there were contradicitons so I didnt believe in God but I solved those things.

Even given all of those stars and galaxies, numerical statistics still give the chances for life evolving to be 1 in 10^2040 power. For perspective, there is estimated to be 10^80 atoms in the known universe. That life even exists here is a major thing, it really isn't reasonable to assume that it happened elsewhere. We are alone in this universe, so get used to it.

Each method has its own domain of operation. It is not difficult to show through logic and current scientific knowledge that God must exist. But I already know that the argument will come down to you denying the laws of science or/and logical and rational thought. I'm willing to prove my point.

I have alwaus wondered why the church don't tell bout the trials one will go through when saved. Because satan has the soul of sinners already he just works on how to keep them. When one gets saved stan will come harder but in Ephesian 6:11 says to put on the whole amour of God,that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. War is an ongoing fight until some one has won. We are in spritual warfare that will not end until Jesus returns.

Ah, the "Jesus is a parachute" story. To make the story complete, you would have to add that there are thousands of parachutes aboard the plane, and that only one of them may work, although it's quite possible that none of them do.

The responses to this video are really quit stupid. What are you people afraid of.... You can't deny the fact that we are all going to die. You will stand in front of God Almighty whether you like it or not. I have proven to myself that God exists. I have read his word and followed him and he has shown me. I dont need anymore proof. You can compare the ignorance of man to someone about to jump off the edge of a cliff. He can say, " I don't believe in gravity, if I jump off this cliff, i'M NOT GOING TO FALL i'M GOING TO FLY! Saying that gravity doesn't exist is like saying "I'm not going to go to hell just cause I don't have a relationship with Jesus"-it doesn't matter what you 'believe' it is what is the truth and what isnt. They look at that argument and say, you can't prove god, you can't disprove god. but to my scientific studies, God seems more unlikely than likely. I think sometimes its a persons choice to believe rather than needing to convince them of truth. Because people will only accept it if their heart is in the right condition.

The Greek word translated here as "fulfilled" is pleroo, which means "fulfilled in every detail, totally completed, cut off and ended".
The law WAS fulfilled, but it was fulfilled COMPLETELY, meaning that sacrifices are no longer needed. That is why in Daniel 9:27 it says "...and in the midst of the week he shall cause the SACRIFICE and the OBLATION to CEASE..." Period.
How Messianic Jews can continue to offer sacrifice and wear the tassels in light of this is beyond me. Oi.

getting rid of the law was the problem firstly. We have laws here in my State but I am not under the surse of them, nor am I haunted by them, we keep then because we want to. The law was given to set us free as well, as Jesus to wash when we fall short. God made no mistake when writing the law. I have always told people that following Jesus is the hardest thing you will ever do. I also teach them to keep the law until you fall short then to ask Jesus to wash you when you fail.

Christian faith is a burden, it will bring discomfort and humiliation, faith will NOT bring you peace, joy, love, fulfillment or LASTING happiness (an eternity after death seams lasting, so... no one is happy in heaven...) Moresoever, as someone from the east n living in the West, I find that generally, Christianity in the West is sugar-coated, and will be squashed soo easily when persecution experienced by my Eastern brothers and sisters comes their way. Hopefully that shall cleanse the Western church.

as a christian this video uses a terrible metaphor... it also is so hypothetical that it is completely irrelevent. It assumes that this person will be made fun of. When i became a Christan at 20years old I was not laughed at by any of my friends... my friends were happy for me. Also it assumes that this person would bow down to peer pressure. no offence but i dont think this metaphor is worth much... maybe some will like it... but most probably wont... in my opinion

It's not about feeling sorry for Jesus or God or whether or not He has friends. He cares for us. We don't "need" our family, but they're there and we care for them unconditionally and we love them and we would die for them. He did that for us to show us His just side. There are a lot of things that we can't prove scientifically (let's say, as an example, the sky is blue). We had no idea that the sky was blue until the scientific research came out.
