I saw them in 1979 with Gary Moore (RIP) not as good as the classic line up with Robbo, Scott, Phil and Brian but boy they lived and played some hard rock and roll
Rosalie is the best in the world. oooooooooo yes. she is the bestest. I would call her everynight on the telephone to take her out on fancy jetplanes and have royal tea parties and jerk around laughing.. oooo i love that rosalie of mine. DRIVE . OH . PLEASE . DRIVE MONKEY OF MINE.
@walrus502353 for some reason I always thought that Thin Lizzy deserved a MUCH higher status in RockNRoll history... so that there were a house-hold classic e.g. AC/DC - EVERYONE knows who they are!
thats not the reason man, look at Hendrix, last time I checked he was black. and he was around long before Thin Lizzy. either way Thin Lizzy is very under rated and under-appreciated in America
i saw them 30 years ago at comiskey park in chicago they they opened up for journey that summer they stole the show i remember during jailbreak when the sirens went off i almost freaked out i was only 14 it was fucking great awesome video from live & dangerous
Truly the finest exponents of this type of rock and roll. I saw them 4 times in the late 70's/early 80's and they were the most exciting concerts I have ever seen. Have you ever seen a band who make you hoarse from shouting and when it's encore time, you just don't want it to end? Totally exhilarating! Check out Limehouse Lizzy on the tribute circuit, at a venue near you. If you are a Lizzy fan, they won't disappoint you! Highly recommended!
Saw Lizzy at the Brighton Centre a couple of years before the great man passed away. I've been to loads of concerts but that one still stays in the memory as one of the best. Absolutely amazing band - especially live. RI
Awesome - I saw them on this tour in Cardiff, and bad reputation tour, as well as a couple of Reading rock festivals. Loved Brian Robertson, had the perm, cord jeans and cuban boots - how sad is that? God bless em all.

They weren't the same without Gary Moore. Gary added the conviction in his playing that took them over the top! Check out "Live at Sydney Opera House"....now that's the SCHIZZLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
