  • I'm 20 and live in the United States. This is one of my favorite songs of all time, easily in my top 10.

I'm a red-head, so this may be the Irish blood talking.....

  • Ask Jon, without Lizzy there would be no Bon Jovi. ........

  • Didn't we live thru a golden era, I pity the kids today. no wonder, they're out there snapping up music from the past.

  • I love it when phil looks straight at the camera with this kick-ass grin on his face

  • Thin Lizzy's version is so original sounding that it's better than the original

  • The power of that first chord at 0:07 disabled the sound on my speakers

  • Nothing fabricated, no hollywood, just musicians getting high on music .

Holywar favourite track, but this kicks too.

  • I saw them in 1979 with Gary Moore (RIP) not as good as the classic line up with Robbo, Scott, Phil and Brian but boy they lived and played some hard rock and roll

  • Rosalie is the best in the world. oooooooooo yes. she is the bestest. I would call her everynight on the telephone to take her out on fancy jetplanes and have royal tea parties and jerk around laughing.. oooo i love that rosalie of mine. DRIVE . OH . PLEASE . DRIVE MONKEY OF MINE.

  • perfect.... can't believe Phil's dead.

  • another great person taken by booze and drugs

why cant any crap people like britney spears die from drugs

  • i feel u.

    lynott was a special motherfucker.

  • @wholeorange25 It's true, there are so many crappy artists who should have died from drugs years ago. Finally someone has: winehouse

  • Like Bob Geldof said, Phil Lynott was a rockstar from eight in the morning till eight in the morning :) miss ya Phil!

  • RIP Phil, you wrote the sundtrack to my life!

  • First album I ever bought the Double "Live and Dangerous". On vinyl I may add. I still have it to this day.

I can't believe it is the 23rd anniversary of his loss to the world of Rock.

Phil you're a LEGEND. We miss you.

  • There no Gary Moore!

  • retard

  • r.i.p phil your my hero.i have your autograph!!!

  • Why are they so perfect??? 5*

  • god i love this song so much..fukin awesome man !!!!

  • *Lynnott

  • Thin Lizzy.

One of the best bands ever. Easily.

    So amazing.

    R.I.P Phill Lnnynott

  • sorry to get a little local 1hpgl

lizzy used to play just up the road in Cork City in Ireland back in the early 70"s when I was a kid

it was so cool to know these guys were just up the street when you could hear them on the

radio and they were ,well Plil was ,so cool

you are right Phil Lynnott was like a rock god ......universal

  • there is only one true god. phil lynott.

  • Heh - are you joking? In Ireland? Phil Lynott Is God, and THIN LIZZY rocks, timelessly

  • They may be under rated in the States but Phil lynott is a god here in Ireland and always will be

oh scott goram is a yank but we are still in love with him

  • @walrus502353 for some reason I always thought that Thin Lizzy deserved a MUCH higher status in RockNRoll history... so that there were a house-hold classic e.g. AC/DC - EVERYONE knows who they are!

  • robb and scott the les pauls talk too each other

  • This is a great tune...and my name is Rosalie and I had never heard it before!!!

  • Probably because they were Irish, and the yanks just wouldn't take em seriously.

  • One of the most underated groups of all time. Must be ROCKING in paradise;

  • this is the audio from the album with visual from the video. weird. they didnt actually play it on the video

  • damn this riff is so cool

  • this is so epic. it's just a grest song!

  • thin lizzy did not make the big time in the usa as philo was black

  • thats not the reason man, look at Hendrix, last time I checked he was black. and he was around long before Thin Lizzy. either way Thin Lizzy is very under rated and under-appreciated in America

  • youre right there i'm from belgium and i love thin lizzy they rock and kick ass at the same time

  • saw em live at Liverpool Empire 'black rose' tour. Amazing!

  • Go Thin Lizzy!!! You Rock!!!!

  • Powerful Rock from the classic line-up of a band in its prime. They don't make em like this any more.

  • December 3rd Live In The Ambassador Dublin Thin Lizzy :D:D

This Will be my second timeto see them so hopefully i'll be lucky to get Scott's Plectrom again :D:D

  • I have seen a lot of live bands, but I am sure Thin Lizzy would have been better than any!

  • im 35 mi slef and i was born far too late

  • i saw them 30 years ago at comiskey park in chicago they they opened up for journey that summer they stole the show i remember during jailbreak when the sirens went off i almost freaked out i was only 14 it was fucking great awesome video from live & dangerous

  • saw them 5th may 1980 glasgow still have the stub . and again two years ago with john sykes. rock will never die.

  • Remember that concert myself.....

    Will never forget...RIP - Phil

  • Favorite band of all time

  • Thin Lizzy...One of the best concert acts EVER

  • I'm sure this has already been said but how cool is it when they transition into Cowboy Song at 3:10?

  • These guys rock, totally!

  • As my name IS Rosalie, I QUITE enjoyed this song.

  • hey thats cool my name is rosalie too!

  • Always nice to find a fellow Rosalian. I especially like how they repeat our name over and over again. It really affirms our greatness!

  • i know i like that too and when i was young my dad and still does sing that song to me... he is in a band now and going strong not famous(YET)

  • Perfect Solo,, one of the best ever laid down.

    Robertson was so underated..

He could kill you with a wah-wah pedal like no one else.

  • its the les pauls they are working. with two good boys.

  • ohh man lizzy sounds really good live!!

  • so good when it revolves around phil and he follows it a bit then goes back at 3:01. such a good shot

  • What a fantastic band. Still to this day doesn't get nearly enough credit.

  • Truly the finest exponents of this type of rock and roll. I saw them 4 times in the late 70's/early 80's and they were the most exciting concerts I have ever seen. Have you ever seen a band who make you hoarse from shouting and when it's encore time, you just don't want it to end? Totally exhilarating! Check out Limehouse Lizzy on the tribute circuit, at a venue near you. If you are a Lizzy fan, they won't disappoint you! Highly recommended!

  • Best band EVER der best song is either dedacation the boys r back in town OR bad reputation! xx

  • Saw Lizzy at the Brighton Centre a couple of years before the great man passed away. I've been to loads of concerts but that one still stays in the memory as one of the best. Absolutely amazing band - especially live. RI

  • Lizzy's coolest song for me!

Keep on listening to them boys and girls!

  • 70's was the greatest decade for music. All other decades have had their moments and some many momets but in the 70's it was great moment, every moment :)

And the fact that Thin Lizzy was the most underrated band of that decade don't hurt either :)

  • I agree. every decade had their moments, but the 70s produced good music every year. 1976 being the best year for music IMO. Thin Lizzy is defiantly the most underrated band ever and they fucking ROCK!!

  • scott and robbo the best sound ever they boys rock

Thin Lizzy died when Phil did

  • John Sykes and Scott Gorham's band tour under the name Thin Lizzy. Saw them about seven years ago. They were excellent.

  • got to see thin lizzy last oct at newcastle city hall i have to say they are one of the best bands i ve seen brilliant,i seen black sabbath in sep and i would honestly say the lizzy gig was up there with the best thin lizzy hurry back .

  • hi john,

are you serious seeing thin lizzy last october? phil lynott died 1986, jan 4th... and phil WAS thin lizzy

  • thin lizzy is the greatest they OWN all other bands

  • could some one please explain why thin lizzy is better than guns and roses.

  • Are you serious? GNR had one decent album, and everything after that was crap. Lizzy are one of the most influential bands ever with a string of great albums. On top of that Phil was an absolute genius and poet, RIP man.
