It may come across offensive at first glance, but when they make fun of him, they do so with great affection - it is not malevolent, which I think they have made quite clear on the podcasts/radio shows as well as during interviews. If he got genuinely upset, they shouldn't do it, of course, but Karl sticks to his guns and.usually seems like he couldn't care less.

I'l leave it a couple of weeks and then start watching. Karls got it all wrong..TV series are different to films. TV shows don't really take off until the 2nd or 3rd series. But this one is different because the material is already there so - it works from episode one of series one. I do think this is one you appreciate more if your familiar with the radio show though and if you're not..then yeah maybe it'll take a few episodes. Channel 4 is the best for comedy. No question.
