@Ryne72 Yes, its pretty loud driving around town. They are dumped a little infront of the axle right now. Thinking of running it the rest the way back and maybe switching to some Bassani mufflers since I want to drive it on the street more. Loved the sound though.

AWESOME!!! I'm building a 347 for my 65 Mustang now. Cam is not as wicked as yours.  I have almost .600 lift with a 110 degree lobe seperation and 11:1 compression. I like magnaflow and my bro says Flowmaster, but these Dynomax mufflers just sound killer. Think I'll go with them and hope they sound almost as good as yours with my set up.

How do these compare to the spintechs in your opinion?  I have spintechs on my 70 Mustang with a 351C right now and the drone is too much for me. How do you like these and would you recommend them?

@the70stang Do you have them ran out the back or dumped under? The Bullets are quite a bit louder and the drone is pretty bad, however mine is dumped under the car. When my Spintechs were dumped out the back it wasn't too bad, dumped under they droned also. The Bullets sound much better though.

Wow, that motor sounds well put together and tuned properly. Very impressive throttle response and the mufflers sound great! The paint on the car is almost as distracting as a hot chick in a fluorescent thong walking down the street. Nice job!

Which mufflers sounded better to you? The Spintechs or Dynomax's? I have a '72 Nova that I'm wanting to get rid of my 40 series on a switch to bullet type for weight and hopefully improve on my ET, but I can't decide which ones will improve and sound the best. I'd like your input!

How big of a cam are you running, to twist those rpm's? Are you using a standard 8.2" block, or an aftermarket 8.7"? I've heard that the 3.4" stroke, and 5.4" rods in a short deck block, can cause problems because of the short compression height on the pistons. I was just wondering what you've experienced.

Probably something in the 255-260 or so range @.050". I'm sure it's an 8.2 deck block as well. The issues with a 3.4" stroke and 5.4" rod are just myths that have never really died out. We're putting together a 347 that's very similar to this (less compression, more cylinder head) for my daily driver. Video to hopefully follow soon.

By the way, to Blown65...I've always loved this car =D.

It was a 266/272 cam in that vid, 656 gross lift. Now sports a 276/284 700 lift cam with ported heads.
