Why is it not possible on a screen this small? It does on a small scale what the philips one (now abondoned) did on a larger scale. It uses lenticular polarisation to do it.

And i agree i mean who would want to watch avatar or alice in wonderland in 3D?? A few people i'd imagine.

The fact that the screen no longer functions touch wise... well that is stupid.

autostereoscopy is not really that affordable, nor possible on a tiny screen like that.... only autostereoscopic screen there really is (one with which you don't need REAL polarized glasses or shutter glasses) is a prototype from philips. so no, it won't be real 3d.
