I'm thinking of getting this phone, wither the mini or just the n97. I've heard a lot of bad comments about this phone. All I want to do is text, call and listen to music and a bit of picture taking and video recording. Is this a good phone for me?

Every N97 Mini has that bump near the piece for some reason. I don't know if it is a design flaw, or if it serves a purpose. I have both a Cherry Black, & a Garnet N97 mini & both have that bump.

One is a North American variant bought from Amazon, & the other was bought from Ebay Sweden, so it seems like it that is the way it was just made.

Bad phone. Slow interface- very sluggish. Also Ovi store is really ancient and has comments and reviews in too many languages- its not country specific. Terrible keyboard, terrible camera, terrible music player. Reply and forwarding buttons confusing. Good sound and battery life, but really is not what it should be.

It could be because the white one is the international version so it's cheaper, and the others are american, so they cost a little more. Doesnt mean all white ones are international, just the one you are looking it

Io ho il N97... quello grande. mi trovo benissimo. ha un solo problemino, con la fotocamera, puoi trovare dei video su youtube. ma va bene anke cosi. poi il mini non l`ho guardato cosi bene...quindi se vai da qualke negozio, guardali entrambi, poi decidi tu. Ti consiglio di andare sempre su Nokia...

- better version of Symbian 5th S60

- better camera

- bigger screen

- better processor

but I do kinda like the aesthetic design of the N97
