I suggest you read nerdpantish's comment. I have read many of her books too, and they are truely enchanting. Why not give her credit for that, regardless of her surname and the ideologies she may or may not support, if that is what bothers you. And regarding the "comunist" - part vs. "the big marketing machine", what's your point?! It just enables the modern authors to support themselves through their craftsmanship!

In Chile she speak against Right Wing and US imperialism, but when She is in US she just have good words to the country and the free market. Tell me who Left wing chilean politician live in a ghetto (La Bandera, La Pincoya)? No one. All they live in Las Condes and they pretty rich.
