this is an EXCELLENT example. perfect combination of close and far, and the focising you use to show the difference of DOF is great. im mos def going to build my own using your instructions
Yes you can use front coated mirrors or prisms but for beginners its hard to build and also expensive. The dust is the biggest problem. The easiest way is to mount your camcorder upside down on your rails and you will get a right image on LCD and also on tape. Or you can use an external 7" TFT and mount it upside down.
