I've never seen a show with a "closeted" gay protaganist before. Not that theres anything wrong with that it's just pretty unexpected, usually homosexual characters are portrayed as extravagent and over emotional in shows like this.

The absense of a hot chick in the first episode. In most animes the love interest is introduced in the first episode. The only hot chick in episode 1 is a villain! Not that that stops people...
