yeah, he's cute when he's not barking all damn night long. i guess they put him in the kitchen when they're annoyed with him and the kitchen is in the back. We sleep in the back too. It's awful.

Car alarms have been a senseless addition to automobiles since at least 1992. I disabled mine, but my wife loves to trick... so it seems, so every now and then I get the blaring sound. Arrrggghhh!!!! :-)

my car has a passive alarm - if you don't use the lil car chripy locky thing, ya know a lil button thing, then it goes off. basically if you just use the key it'll go off.

This happened yesterday in the parking lot of the pharmacy where I work. Someone's car alarm was going off for over 20 minutes, and no one could find the person to whom it belonged. Nearly drove us all nuts inside the store, until they finally showed up. These things should turn off automatically after awhile, but, nah, they just go on and on and on...

I had one go off in my complex literally from 9pm until 7:30am. It would go for like three minutes, turn off, wait five minutes and turn back on. Thing is, that after so many hours, the battery started to die. So it slowly went from five minutes to six, then seven, then eight. I called the cops about six times that night. They never even came out. By morning, it was so dead it was like warped beeping. Needless to say I was pissed. Zero sleep for me that night. Don't you hate those things??
