Straight Vegetable Oil or SVO only works in diesel engines. We do not sell biodiesel, we sell a system which you can install on a diesel vehicle/engine and it gives it the ability to run on waste vegetable oil without any chemical modification.
Copper is reactive with veggie oil., It has been used in the past, (we never have) and in certain perfect conditions it will be OK, but your window of reliability is severely narrowed. It can Polymerize the oil pretty quick. Aluminum is the least reactive metal. That's what we use with our heat exchangers.
If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call or check out our website :)
Do you also convert gas engines on plant fuel??
Do you use 100 percent pure Ethanol??
Or what do you use?
In how far does it harm the engine?

Hi Charels
Thanks for all the good info.
My question is, can copper pipe be used as an in tank submerged heat exchanger?
Or is there some complication with copper and SVO?
Thanks
Zsolt
