Also, the 200000 population is only an estimate of the local population, probably done prior to war. It is logical to think that, as the capital city, Nanking experienced an influx of refugees from other occupied areas of China, as well as the many military personnels stationed there.

Is it logical to think that during a war with the Japanese approaching the capital 50,000 refugees would travel there? People were leaving and when the Japanese were a short ways away they were fleeing. January 1938 showed roughly the same population as before. How could 200,000 Chinese settle a city that was oocupied by the Japanese immediately after they massacred 300,000 people?

Therefore, the Chinese government was absorbed in collecting proofs even during the IMTFE. In other words, the Chinese government had already fixed the number of casualties into more than 300,000 before they began to collect the evidence. The Nanking population increaded to 277,000 on Feb.

A lot of the actors that played the "missionaries", tru;y fell flat, specially Mariel Hemingwa who didn't play Minnie Vautrin to what she should be. Why can't people stop denying the massacre? Japan in the Sino-Japanese War and WW2 was aggressive and ruthless, in many ways similar to Nazi Germany. It did many evil things. However, that was the past, and I love Japan, its a great country, and most of those responsible for war crimes are dead. The Japanese are a good people. They don't have to deny the massacre. They can just accept it and apologize and stuff. And the voices of Chinese victims will be heard, too. People need to stop trolling.

Our Last Days in China's Capital, as to the aspect on November 29, 1937. Who did kill them? Not only that, why did the world not hear about it after it happened? There is also a large collection of pictures of it, every one has been proven not to be of Nanking or previously published before December 1937.

@ascoop22 . I understand your doubt regarding the accuracy of the numbers. However, even if it were only 50 000 people, that is still a lot of people killed. Does that make it any less of a tragedy? Also, the 200000 population is only an estimate of the local population, probably done prior to war. It is logical to think that, as the capital city, Nanking experienced an influx of refugees from other occupied areas of China, as well as the many military personnels stationed there.

Is it logical to think that during a war with the Japanese approaching the capital 50,000 refugees would travel there? People were leaving and when the Japanese were a short ways away they were fleeing. January 1938 showed roughly the same population as before. How could 200,000 Chinese settle a city that was oocupied by the Japanese immediately after they massacred 300,000 people?

China can't abuse Japan because there are no prove Japan guilty about the Nanking Massacre. The Chinese always show no evidence of any vigorous critical attempt to distinguish between valid primary materials and other materials: photographs, for instance, which are known to be fabricated, or from different areas and different times, continue to be used to prove Japanese guilt in the winter of 1937-38 at Nanjing.
Though, many teachers have taught the massacre to kids in schools in China.

After the Japanese victory and occupation took place, TSZC in its document dated on December 17, and in subsequent documents, consistently recognized this number. In Japan, I saw somebody said Nanking massacre was not real. This is for the reason about their education system. When the war II was over, Japanese goverment has tried to cover the facts of war, their textbook has seldom words about they invading other countries. So when Japanese hear they had such a history, they would deny it. I actually met some old men who experinced the war, who told the histroy with regret.

(Part2)If the 'Nanking Massacre, had actually existed, there might have been some motivation. Indeed it was an argument of motivation that the Prosecution never tried to dispute so far. The Japanese had no 'policy to exterminate the Chinese'. The Prosecution explained that the motive was to threaten Chinese people. But no evidences were shown to prove it.

(Part3) Neither we can observe any fear of Japanese soldiers among the Chinese inhabitants. Of course, they might argue that these are merely the representations of a small part in Nanking, and can not immediately deny the 'Nanking Massacre'. However, who can, rationally, be convinced that the large-scale massacre and incidents of rape and looting could have been committed in the same place where the Chinese inhabitants were living in peace?

(Part2)According to the claims of the CCP, this period (December 15-17, 1937) when these photos were taken is the one when the large-scale massacre was taking place (December 12-18). Also, the period when the film Nanking was produced is the one when the CCP claimed that the murders and the large-scale rapes and looting were committed. As these photos and films represent, the peace and public order of Nanking has been clearly restored.

(Part1)a film called Nanking, produced by TOHO Film Production, shows a crowd of inhabitants coming to get ID cards at the card issuing office opened in the Safety Zone by the Japanese Army. This has been conducted during the period of December 24, 1937, through January 5, 1938, in order to identify the citizens, separating them from the soldiers. We can observe that the Chinese people shown in the pictures aren't in fear of the Japanese soldiers at all.
