I'm very glad you've made a success of yourself but didn't Obama say he could no more disown Reverend Wright then he could the black community? But hasn't he disowned him? I'm just confused about that. All supporters of Barack Obama have said that he didn't know that his pastor of 20 years was pretty anti American and racist. Great video. Well told. It would help if the media would analyze Obama's story. It's not only one of a biracial child, but a person of a complex life, not told thru Rev. Wright.

As a black female who grew up in a white neighborhood and never had more than a single black friend until high school, in many ways I too felt "bi-racial" or rather "bi-cultural" tho others saw me more as a race than as person.

Because of Rev. Wright the media shows Obama now as a black man rather than as Barack.

I was never offended by any of Wright's statements because I hear the pain of a generation that is justified. Other side, I can see how some might take offense to some phrases. I feel Obama was driven by listening to Wright on Sundays from time to time to the position that we are ready for change. We are all Americans, let's stand together and move forward.

I also feel like Obama is like me. We're one year apart, struggled with being mixed in a labeling society and genuinely have great empathy for people.
