The only really interesting one is the one with the kettles, funnily enough. Nothing alive - or "alive" - is as good, the tiger the pool of water. Nothing with cool or bright colors is as good..unless you're degas, (which maybe you could be). The medium is limited in many ways. Stick to middle of the road tones, lots of details so you can look into the picture - the picture doesn't jump out at you - like the kettle picture.
Very good, im doing gcse art and my teacher says im working at uni level already :), il give you a hint to produce great detail, you have to be able to see it, feel the art and the subject then and only then will u perspire
wow, the details are so unbelievable! THey are so real! I wonder if you can make a tutorial or perhaps demonstrate techniques and time lapse videos of these wonderful creations =) I hope you can grant our wishes =) Thanks !
His paintings and his wife are just fine, I admire a lot, because I am beginning to work with soft pastels, and I fell in love with them .... hopefully will be able to achieve the degree of realism that you presented in your portraits.
Actually different kinds work in different ways... and realism depends on how much you practise life drawing and how deeply you feel the reality.. What you feel is what you can express... Media is only a medium.. Draw without a sketch.. without an outline.. directly wiyh pastels.. or any media you choose.
Thanks. I used Talons-Rembrandt soft pastels & Pentei oil pastels. I smudge soft pastels with finger often and use the point with oil pastels which may be uncommon. Watch other videos under isharasiri and asiri57. You may ask any question, I would be happy to respond.
Love your style and work.

I have to mention that using the name of Jesus as profanity is extremely offensive.

I saw you artwork on your site and I really liked them. Especially, 'Sweeping the dirt within' is excellent.
I'm trying to paint with pastels too. Can you tell me what brand of pastels do you use?
Cheers.
