This is great... I'm sure that these bears are aware of the fact that the humans bring these dogs to visit too. Their trust in us is probably just a bit different though. And we'd probably get hurt regardless of how friendly their being towards us because of how strong and heavy they are. I'm probably talking out of my butt right now, LOL, but if I was to make a guess that would be it.
OK I love this video but before you go calling humans evil and polar bears "teddy bears" I have watched a video of a polar stalking for miles a mother bear and two cubs until one the cubs just couldn't walk anymore. Then he tore into little pieces... It's nature I know, but it can certainly look evil.

@abhinavenator ha ha....that's what I was thinking!!! You can't do much when you get a hug from a polar bear!!! Wonderful video...thankyou for posting
@Knuffelaar1970 Comeon don't ruin it for everybody I really believe that animals are just as humans.I took a animal behavior class and it amazing how they react very similar to humans.Scientists set an experiment where some children and of diferent ages and a chimp had to get a treat from inside the a transparent tube.they had a jar of water right next to tube.the litle kids couldnt solve the problem.the older ones filled the tube and got the treat. The chimp peed in the tube and got the peanut..
Polar Bear doesnt taste that bad you know.. We could eat them first... served with dog could be a new Chinese delicacy. Obviously, the bear is NOT hungry in this vid.... Good for the pups.
There is nothing cuddly about anything that considers you as food. Remember, people, that polar bears could still be considered our natural predators.
@MrEvilOptimus I never said they weren't beautiful creatures(and indeed they are), but there are many beautiful animals out there that -ARE- predators and these Arctic Ursines are indeed among them.
It's funny(and kinda sad) how you blow things WAY out of proportion.
@MagusJoseph LOL, you really are that guy that ruins a good party. Polar bears actually rarely kill people so if you want to talk about blowing things out of proportion, that'd be you my friend. In all of recorded history, only about 19 people in Russia have been killed by polar bears. Where as in Canada and Alaska, about 8 or so people total. In each case, the bear was starving or was provoked. Do your research next time because the polar bear isn't much of a human predator at all.
@MagusJoseph I'm not making a big deal out it, I'm simply posting in the comments section of this great youtube video in response to your pretentious attitude. If I were to make a big deal out of it, I'd contact my local news station or write to the president about how you need to be stopped before you ruin all touching youtube videos. Anyway, the point is you're false in saying the polar bear can be classified as a "natural predator" of humans. Shame on you for not doing a little research.
@MrEvilOptimus That's not what I'm seeing here. You say one thing but your overlong posts say otherwise. It no longer matters whether or not my original statement was erroneous; You're just as much at fault as I was for prolonging this pointless argument.
@MagusJoseph You're only saying this argument was pointless because you were caught with your pants down due to your idiotic comments. Listen, the fact still remains you posted in a vain attempt to look intelligent. Not only that, the information you posted was essentially incorrect.
This is so amazing, as female polar bear have to hide their young from males , who will kill them given a chance, but for some reason, they do not kill the huskies. That is the wonder. Most bear will kill dogs, especially tied up dogs.
I wish I wasn't born as a human...Forever trapped in this body.
