frank miller is a master cartoonist. Unlike all the ridiculous comic artists today paying way too much attention to detail spending hours decorating one little panel. His work is sophisticated simplicity just like the comic artists from the golden age and shortly after. Just like Japanese calligraphy ,it takes yearss to master. He is just as much a master of telling stories with visuals as he is with words.

Frank Miller is like a Jimi Hendrix of comics, or something to that effect. He's easily one of the foremost contributors to the creativity of what comics were in the 70'-80's, and have been, ever since. It will be a while before a creator of his caliber arises again in comic books or perhaps, any other form of writing. Bravo, Frank; you've been a great motivation for me.

In any other case stereotyping can lead to insults and disrespect. I'm against that. Frank Miller is an alcoholic racist who stereotypes in order to insult, not to entertain. This assfuck Frank Miller refers to the Achaemenid Persians as if they were fucking muslims. And even if they fucking were,in present day Iran there is no such thing as genital mutilation, neither are women enslaved, unless he refers to Iran's fascist government which has the entire population enslaved, not only women. @Shahin2102 The fact that this motherfucker, Miller, is protected by laws that allow him to speak freely, to practice whatever religion he wants, to insult a whole nation without being punished for it is due to the Achaemenid Persians who INVENTED human rights and applied them to the conquered. As for his "three thousand neighbours", they were killed by arab terrorists, not by the Persian people which he gladly insults.

frank miller is a master cartoonist. Unlike all the ridiculous comic artists today paying way too much attention to detail spending hours decorating one little panel. His work is sophisticated simplicity just like the comic artists from the golden age and shortly after. Just like Japanese calligraphy ,it takes yearss to master. He is just as much a master of telling stories with visuals as he is with words.

Regardless of how you might feel about him, Ronin is still one of those books that everybody ought to see. Sure we all love the Dark Knight returns. But Ronin? Man it's true the shackles really come off there. Go out and buy the coffee table sized edition, you WON"T be disappointed!

Frank Miller is like a Jimi Hendrix of comics, or something to that effect. He's easily one of the foremost contributors to the creativity of what comics were in the 70'-80's, and have been, ever since. It will be a while before a creator of his caliber arises again in comic books or perhaps, any other form of writing. Bravo, Frank; you've been a great motivation for me.

Frank Miller have a unique original style that creates a special atmosthphere. If you don't like him then just shut the fuck up, the man Is a true artist.
