I actually did a playthrough of this game. I did it back when I sucked, so the quality is pretty bad, but I plan on re-doing it sometime in 2011.

you guys are wrong, schala and kid are NOT the same person. Kid is a clone daughter of schala who was born into the human world. CC completely screwed up the CT storyline and doesn't really have anything to do with the first game except for a few inserts of Crono, Luca and Marle. =/

That was a loop hole put in by the crappy game designers. CC makes several loop holes. You know they actually say in game Schala and Kid are two different people - not only that Kid can go to rescue her if she is in your party.

You do realize that the royal family in CT was a descadant of Schala's, right? That's the reason Marle's pendant was the same as Schala's.

No shit it was loop holes, which is the main reason it SUCKED as a sequel. Clones are NOT the same as the original. They may have the same genetic make-up, but they are entirely different individuals. A clone can go commit a crime and the original be totally innoncent. Should the original go to jail for the clone's crime?

This game was perfect. And I loved that there was no music in the final battle. It drove home the point that you were at the end of all things. And how awesome would it be if the Gamer Gods answered the prayers of so many and either remade the game, or created a sequel?

FF7, one of the most overrated games of all history. Just because it was the first 3D Final Fantasy and little kids wanted a "Next Gen" game and not an "Old 2D game".

i'm gonna disagree... i think final fantasy 6 was the best but final fantasy wasn't bad... it's "state of the art" graphics weren't the only thing that got people's attention. final fantasy 7 had and incredible story line.

I'm going to have to take the middle of the middle grounds. My favorites are FF6 and Xenogears (had the best story but it probably doesn't have the best gameplay).

FF7 is overrated, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game. It has an engrossing story at least.

CT is great and classic, but unfortunately most people say it's better than FF6.

I'm going to start Chrono Cross and FFX soon hopefully but I've heard good things about both.

dude its like that in chrono cross but like final fantasy 7 the main protagonast has alot of shit to deal with, but in final fantasy seven it goes through practicully all of the characters story if but briefely and it connects them all together, it only does that with two people in chrono cross

The thing about Chrono Cross is even if you have spoilers and have played the game multiple times through, you'll still never truly see and understand everything about the plotline. That's one of the reason's it's so great.

hmmm... when u using masamune to enter kid's dream as she's coma, u'll enter the ophanage which had been burned, so there u'll be encounter a monster tat block a machine, i guess it jz beside the main door tat u'll going to break thru, use the code(i forgot @@), n press it n u'll got Kid's 3rd technic which named as Hot Shot
