@vivelavidarocka I actively wallow and bask in the fact that the likes of you get angry and worked-up over the fact Genesis (shock, horror!) sold records. I laugh in the face of, and scoff at buffoons like you. It’s a pleasure to make fun of, and make fools out of, people such as yourself.

Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!
here's an idea for everybody who may have a problem with this not being a song they like (which makes me wonder why you are even listening to this) or if there is a slight problem with anything involving the video. if you don't like it, leave, move on to another video, and don't comment or even hit the dislike button. both are unnecessary and i'd rather not se hateful things in the comments of a good video
Free hearing test: Listen to this song all the way through. If you are tempted to hit the Dislike button, get your ears checked. If your ears are okay, see a psychiatrist.
@TheSeeker008 lol spoken like a TRULY house broken, domesticated male. love how you get all butthurt because another man voices an opinion of women that differs from yours. well, how this? fuck you, your woman, your opinion and your relationship. i'll speak what i want, you pussywhupped cuckold. what does trusting a man have to do with being gay. reason 245,333,873 why men like you are pussy through and through. go rub her feet and shut up, you mangina.

@TheSeeker008 And, lastly, what the fuck are you even DOING listenting to a song about a woman men cannot trust if you believe women are so damn perfect, hypocrite? Oh, so what, you like the song but not the message? I guess you're so brainwashed it's instinctual for you to respond without even THINKING. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism.

CynicalRaven461 seems to lack knowledge of spontaneity and improvisations. Singers and bands like Collins and Genesis had one great thing that's missing today - the studio version of the songs are different from the concert ones. Meaning that these guys are really working with their brains and with their hearts, enough to introduce every time something new, and not just learn a song and sing it every time in the same manner. Most of today bands and singers are a just untallented dummies.

The aircraft hangar was a great location for filming this video. For some reason, the setting just works perfectly with the atmosphere of the song... it feels as vast as that type of setting, but the 80s synths and drums mesh well with the industrial quality of the area.

we can always remind to this kind of music which is really art, and i`m wondering, what will the kids of today remembering to? i mean everything they`re listening to today sounds like crap. just sayin
i like how he moves his mane back casually while his hairline is receding. hilarious! only an 80s guy can grow a mullet WITH a balding front/receding hairline AND be proud of it. lmao!
@redbones01= Because back then, people put their heart and souls into their music. They even wrote their own music. There was no autotune either. They sang, and they danced with their hearts. @vigo894 Pop music from back then was no better than modern pop music; it's just that the only music from back then that actually gets played, is the GOOD music. Genesis = good music.
@l0rdjimmy No sarcasm here, Sir. I just love how everyone thinks music died with the 80's. That's fucking ridiculous. I'm not saying Ke$ha is Mozart, but neither is Phil Collins. I enjoy all kinds of music.
@redbones01 Because there is no music of today that is worth listening to. Music of the 50's-90's are the only Decades of Music worth listening to. Out of everyone I have ever heard I still always come back to Phil Collins! Sing it PHIL. LOVE YOU and your Incredible MUSIC!
@redbones01 Because we were all sure that the world was going to go down the nuclear toilet. At that point art took the responsibility of giving us hope or at least the best entertainment possible. In the end, it went down the toilet, but somehow, we are still alive. Down the toilet but alive.
How this is the ONLY Genesis song that hit #1 on Billboard is beyond me. Nothing wrong with this one but there are better ones. Being the debut song from this album really helped it.
@nelsonkari10 it was a fucking joke dumbass, i said that because it looked like it. I post 2 words, you don't know if i meant it as a fact. so don't assume.

!.) he turned a drumstick into a microphone!

@redbones01 - Seriously? Wow.

@redbones01 Because we were all sure that the world was going to go down the nuclear toilet. At that point art took the responsibility of giving us hope or at least the best entertainment possible. In the end, it went down the toilet, but somehow, we are still alive. Down the toilet but alive.

And now I know...Genesis has a built-in ability...to be the greatest pop-rock band ever.

How this is the ONLY Genesis song that hit #1 on Billboard is beyond me. Nothing wrong with this one but there are better ones. Being the debut song from this album really helped it.

Damn it, why couldn't time have just stopped in 1999? Then we wouldn't have to deal with all the shit we have today!

I love how this video captures all the fun they were having. Better than a high budget production IMHO.
