  • Great song. Genesis was awesome!

  • According to Father Guido Sarduchi three miracles must be proven and satisfied in order to be considered a saint.

!.) he turned a drumstick into a microphone!

2.) he eluded capture from his friends and male pattern baldness as his contempraries have succumbed!

    #.)He has an Invisible touch!

There you go, who could argue the obvious power and honor it is to know such a mangod!

  • @MsOpenMike 3:30-3:40 not to mention the remarkable ability to take the heads of his bandmates and turn them into a drum set at his leisure and convenience...

...i smell the illuminati at hand...:)

  • Wonderful video to a wonderful song

  • Gene$i$ = Invisible Bullshit.

  • @vivelavidarocka I actively wallow and bask in the fact that the likes of you get angry and worked-up over the fact Genesis (shock, horror!) sold records. I laugh in the face of, and scoff at buffoons like you. It’s a pleasure to make fun of, and make fools out of, people such as yourself.

  • @MattSingh1 Collin$ $old Gene$i$ By The Pound.

lol. Yeah right, pal. I'M angry.

Keep listening to this "groundbreaking" era of the band.

    "....And Then They Were Gene$HIT"

This has been a public service brought you by vivelavidarocka.

  • Pure GeneSHIT......

  • @vivelavidarocka stfu hater this is the best band ears could ever hear they r groundbreakers in everysense of the word and if u dont like it its ur loss now shut up

  • @vivelavidarocka Funny...album sales appear to prove you wrong...

  • This was the best song on the music lists, in 14th July, when I was born :)

  • *__*

  • Excellent stuff from the 80s....the decade of the greats..!!

  • Three people here deserve an invisible punch.

  • While I enjoy Genesis in their progressive days, you cannot escape the girth of Phil Collins.

  • --> 15 year old Phil Fan right here <--

  • @TrDub53Impersonator so great bro!!!!

  • @TrDub53Impersonator me too :D

    ur not alone :P

  • @TrDub53Impersonator -->13 year old other Genesis fan here<--

  • Phil Collins is to music what Chuck Norris is to roundhouse kicks.

  • You two seriously get a room and just listen to this incredible music

  • Amazing voice, Lord Phil Collins.

  • here's an idea for everybody who may have a problem with this not being a song they like (which makes me wonder why you are even listening to this) or if there is a slight problem with anything involving the video. if you don't like it, leave, move on to another video, and don't comment or even hit the dislike button. both are unnecessary and i'd rather not se hateful things in the comments of a good video

  • Qué buena canción, me fascina me recuerda mi juventud.

  • 3:45 LOL

  • Free hearing test: Listen to this song all the way through. If you are tempted to hit the Dislike button, get your ears checked. If your ears are okay, see a psychiatrist.

  • at 46 seconds he literally flicks his mullet!

  • Reason number 145,788,532,676.2 why a man should not trust a woman.

  • @LamonicBomb I trust my woman with my life

  • @TheSeeker008 ew. who the hell even ASKED you all that...? begone.

  • @LamonicBomb you did with your stupid comment about not trusting women. Whats wrong, are you a lonely bastard or do you only trust men? fag

  • @TheSeeker008 lol spoken like a TRULY house broken, domesticated male. love how you get all butthurt because another man voices an opinion of women that differs from yours. well, how this? fuck you, your woman, your opinion and your relationship. i'll speak what i want, you pussywhupped cuckold. what does trusting a man have to do with being gay. reason 245,333,873 why men like you are pussy through and through. go rub her feet and shut up, you mangina.

  • @TheSeeker008 Manbot Law Number 7: A manginabot must never allow any non-woman-being to say anything negative about woman beings (lest they come to harm by having bad things said about them while they are being so strong and independent) and must attack any other manbot with the audacity to criticize woman beings or in any way suggest that they are less than perfect.

  • @TheSeeker008 And, lastly, what the fuck are you even DOING listenting to a song about a woman men cannot trust if you believe women are so damn perfect, hypocrite? Oh, so what, you like the song but not the message? I guess you're so brainwashed it's instinctual for you to respond without even THINKING. Invisible Touch IS NOT a love song, so I don't understand what you're doing listening to it. You just sound like a spineless freak of a 'man'...or whatever gender you think you are. Begone.

  • @LamonicBomb wow. 3 long comments left as response to my short comment. I must have struck a nerve. I still feel sorry for you for not being fully able to trust another human being as life partner. You must have had bad experiences. What happened, did she fuck someone else behind your back? Is that why you turned gay?I don't have to say much except that anybody will agree with me that it is a sad situation when a person can never trust his/her lifepartner.Say something about that internet gangsta.

  • @TheSeeker008 yea...you struck a 'nerve'. whenever i see sad, ignorant comments from someone naive judging me or anyone based on such a narrow and childish perspective it bothers me; ignorance always does. i dunno what you think you mean by 'gangsta'; that another group of people you label and judge? saying i turned gay is also silly and proves you're some poem-writing hippie prolly. i really wish you'd get off my dick and stop trolling; i don't need your permission to speak.

  • Best song ever

  • THIS is music!

  • Wow, this fits my ex Becca

  • What I'd like to know is, when is "80's Day"? :-)

  • @liquidninja3584 Every day :D

  • I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism.

  • this song always gets my spirits when i am down. songs like this and jump by van halen and other songs that have good insrumental backup to the awesome singing

  • i have been listening to collins and genesis since i am kid

why is it that THEY SUCK SO MUCH TODAY?

  • Phil Collins has the power to make a drumsticks a microphone

  • And something more:

The disastrous situation with the music nowadays is due to internet. It's sad but true. Internet allowed every f*kin' retarded to become a great musician. What a pity!

  • CynicalRaven461 seems to lack knowledge of spontaneity and improvisations. Singers and bands like Collins and Genesis had one great thing that's missing today - the studio version of the songs are different from the concert ones. Meaning that these guys are really working with their brains and with their hearts, enough to introduce every time something new, and not just learn a song and sing it every time in the same manner. Most of today bands and singers are a just untallented dummies.

  • Phil (and Genesis) always look like they are having so much fun making the videos. They make it look like they are just having fun.

  • No product placements. No extravagent sets. No chereography. And the band members are acting ridiculous....Where did these guys go right?!

  • Press 4 for Phil being high

  • Press 2 for Phil having a seizure

  • 80's music are looks so bright and clear

2010's music are looks so dark and sick

  • @umakara55 AMEN

  • I love the video and song (not to be to generic in a comment!). Thi s era was a great one in music for sure!

  • flasher coat

  • This was about the same time Benny Hill was in "Anything She Does" video. You can see Phil acting silly just like Benny did back then. :)

  • PHIL COLLINS IS THE MOFUCKING MAN

  • everyone who hears this in the year 2011 thumbs up!

  • I´m 15 years old and i love this song...<3

  • @aaaaaaaie Haa a nice quote from American Psycho. ^^

  • @aaaaaaaie well it was an epic song, until you just dissected it to the point of me wanting to vomit

  • @aaaaaaaie and you should really quote Bret Easton Ellis, because its a tiny thing called plagiarism

  • This makes me miss the music of the 80's. Not that the stuff today is bad, it's just the music back then was so much superior.

  • omg this is my song!!!

  • this song makes me happy :)

  • Compared to other Genesis's songs, this is "Invisible bullshit"

  • This song still remain a classic in my books.....timeless song. Thanks for the great memories.

  • The aircraft hangar was a great location for filming this video. For some reason, the setting just works perfectly with the atmosphere of the song... it feels as vast as that type of setting, but the 80s synths and drums mesh well with the industrial quality of the area.

  • good fucken song!

  • when i heard this on the radio i thought he said physical touch

  • @sunsetsunflower me too.

  • That was Fantastic....wasnt it Fantastic?

  • two people didn't get the invisible touch.

  • Great song! :D i can't stop hitting the replay button!

  • does Phil Collins look like Bill Murray or what? Anyways they all look like they're having a fun time. Good song too.

  • @MichaelBielema he does look like him

  • ech0thedolphin needs to give credit to american psycho with christian bale for his comment

  • Genesis hit #1 in Billboard, 7-19-86. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Happy retirement, Phil

  • we can always remind to this kind of music which is really art, and i`m wondering, what will the kids of today remembering to? i mean everything they`re listening to today sounds like crap. just sayin

  • Could anybody explain me what Phil was saying to Tony at 0:14 ? English is not my mothertongue... thanks in advance.

  • @MrAlexxluis phil says "pout pout; come on baby gimme all you got"

  • 2 people are just plain wrong

  • Its better than any Lil Wayne music

  • i like how he moves his mane back casually while his hairline is receding. hilarious! only an 80s guy can grow a mullet WITH a balding front/receding hairline AND be proud of it. lmao!

  • 1:59 emulator II and Yamaha DX7 ..two pillars of the '80s music

  • Lets see modern artists beat THIS

  • @nickpro11 They can't. Autotune is the thing now.

  • who knew that the 80's could sound so good

  • The ending of the song, singing past the end of the music in falsetto - that was fantastic!

  • 1:21 to 1:25 lol

  • why are music from the 80s so memorable?

  • @redbones01= Because back then, people put their heart and souls into their music. They even wrote their own music. There was no autotune either. They sang, and they danced with their hearts. Now, it's just a bunch of disposable teenyboppers with no real talent. And they hide that with autotuning. People like Phil Collins and Genesis will be remembered long after Kesha, Hannah Montana, and all those other talentless hacks are forgotten.

  • @vigo894 Pop music from back then was no better than modern pop music; it's just that the only music from back then that actually gets played, is the GOOD music. Genesis = good music.

  • @Boleniana dude... bad news.... this IS the pop music from back then

  • @vigo894 Who ??

  • @vigo894 Whoa, whoa, whoa...you fucking with Ke$ha?! GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!

  • @SteakSalad You're joking, right? Sarcasm doesn't communicate well over the internet.

  • @l0rdjimmy No sarcasm here, Sir. I just love how everyone thinks music died with the 80's. That's fucking ridiculous. I'm not saying Ke$ha is Mozart, but neither is Phil Collins. I enjoy all kinds of music.

  • @vigo894 Keep in mind that people said the exact same thing when "Invisible Touch" came out (not about Genesis, of course).

  • @vigo894 Truly, Tiffany and Debbie GIbbson were hallmarks of their time as well.

  • @redbones01 Because there is no music of today that is worth listening to. Music of the 50's-90's are the only Decades of Music worth listening to. Out of everyone I have ever heard I still always come back to Phil Collins! Sing it PHIL. LOVE YOU and your Incredible MUSIC!

  • @redbones01 - Seriously? Wow.

  • @redbones01 Because we were all sure that the world was going to go down the nuclear toilet. At that point art took the responsibility of giving us hope or at least the best entertainment possible. In the end, it went down the toilet, but somehow, we are still alive. Down the toilet but alive.

  • @redbones01 you have to ask? :)

  • And now I know...Genesis has a built-in ability...to be the greatest pop-rock band ever.

  • How this is the ONLY Genesis song that hit #1 on Billboard is beyond me. Nothing wrong with this one but there are better ones. Being the debut song from this album really helped it.

  • That Banks guy seems like a wanker. Anybody know?

  • Thumbs up if you know or have known the girl with the invisible touch...

  • 1 person can't see the invisible touch...

  • Goddamn it, bring back the 80's!

  • 80's...

Y U PRODUCE SUCH GOOD MUSIC?!

    Present...

    Y U NO PRODUCE MUSIC?

    "Y U NO" guy time :|

  • 0:58 GUITAR HERO

  • @ellen3367 no its not. it may look like it but its not. ps dont post lies in the future :-P

  • @nelsonkari10 it was a fucking joke dumbass, i said that because it looked like it. I post 2 words, you don't know if i meant it as a fact. so don't assume.

  • Brings me back to when I was just a toddler. I was either 2 or 3 when this song came out.

  • I'd like to borrow one of Phil's trench coats to protect me from the douche chills I'm getting from this video.

  • One douchebag dosent like Genesis

  • love it

  • Cool song: to me, it's a song of love accomplishment. Yeah!

  • phil colins, it's been a while since i heard his voice, dang he never changes

  • gotta love Phil's skullet.

  • This video makes me LOVE Genesis! :)

  • Damn it, why couldn't time have just stopped in 1999? Then we wouldn't have to deal with all the shit we have today!

  • I love how this video captures all the fun they were having. Better than a high budget production IMHO.

  • Ahh, 80's music videos. ^-^

  • Flash Back to the late 80's Love it .

  • fron el congo el salvador , this type of music is what we love to hear

  • this is a beautiful song by a beautiful band hehe
