AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA , I like this song !!!!!!
@chinchowpowpook.......the stones are a pop band. they haven't had anything close to this heavy or with as much guitar since the 70's. it couldn't be farther from similiar as could be.
What is it about this cd and the shows supporting this cd that sonically they are just on it. It sounds so good, so tight, and the mix is just nailed right on.
wow.. i didnt know this one existed, thanks for the internet...this is my favorite album...the songs are very personal to ian and billy,,...very underrated album, but truly lyrically and musicly THE CULT...CFFC!!!!!!!!
Kin ell not you again, jst keep listening to love, and electric and sonic temple and let the rest of us enjoy the new album ,and second sell out world tour in the last 3 years.
I think that the Cult hit superband status when Sonic Temple was released. Ceremony was good in early 90s, and then they tried to evolve their sound...I personally think they did a great job. Especially on "Rise" and this song....
Actually album came out on 1994. However you might be right, the timing was wrong and The Cult were no longer the leading rock band (if they ever were)... By the way, I hate their recent tunes!
This album came out in 1992...Grunge was the "sound" at that time....too "technical" in sound for the era...oddly enough, U2 comes out with "Achtung Baby" a year later with a similar sound, and they get the "innovative" credit/label...

Not only is the drum riff stolen from "the Fly" this also looks like a U2 Video from the ACHTUNG BABY era.

The Cult from 1994 is one of the best Cult albums, and i think its great tight sound has alot to do with the awesome bass playing of Craig Adams.
