It sounds like she's battling him. No poise or grace in performing her song along w/ someone. She was all over the scale. Wanted to like the performance (eye-roll & sigh). Still Tevin's performance was wonderful, in spite of his duet partner attempting to upstage him, good grief. He clearly didn't need to lay out on the stage and drop at the waist to show he could perform the song.

1) Possessing a voice and 2) knowing how to sing with that voice are two VERY different things. Christina Aguilera has a voice but she does not know how to use it. She "sings" with over used and abused RUNS Running ALLL-over-the place ALLL the time. She does not understand "syncopation", "interpretation", "rhythm" or "phrasing". She figures -"if I just keep drowning in them runs all day maybe I'll sound black and fool people into thinking I can sing."

Tevin demonstrated what REAL singing is.
