There was no reverb added to the sound. The concert was recorded at an old church in New York and the reverb you hear is the natural sound inside that church.
The choice of reverb depends on the performing artist. I haven't seen sitar players ask for reverb on their strings for live performances, although they may add it to studio recordings, if the sitar sounds too dry. It's true that too much reverb can jumble up meends.
There was no reverb added to the sitar track of this performance. What you are hearing is a "large hall" sound, because the performance was held at a huge old church.
ustad shujaat khansahib has a very particular style of playing. it is so romantic. I really like him. Can anyone tell me why he plays on only one string? Does he konw how to play on other stings as well? I see he only plays on first string.
Do you think I would listen to others if I knew how to play myself?? Of course, I don't know how to play the sitar. Since it is played on one string, it is not difficult to learn, either. Or maybe he cannot play on the other strings for some health problems e.g. weight, etc...
And you are so stupid; you have no confidence in yourself. Do you really think only one person in the world can learn this instrument and others are incapable? If that is your way of thinking, I am sure you are a directly descendant of a monkey up to two generations ago! If he could do it as a human being, I am sure everyone else can do it, too. Have some self-confidence man! Stop being a monkey. Are you castrated or what?? haha
So you claim you have videos better than this fat dude? Let me see them! where are they? I will also send you videos of my kung fu style and the moves you will NEVER be able to do if you are past the age of 30. What do you say about that monkey?
Interesting that when one asks you about your own videos you get nasty and start drinking cow's urine. Are you ashamed of showing your videos? It is obviously you don't have self-esteem and confidence; otherwise, you would have come forward and presented your own work. People like you are good in sucking others' balls. Have some dignity chimp!! hahahah

You'd be better off spanking your OWN monkey than carrying on a post you so obviously know F all about..
BTW I didn't say my videos were better than the Ustad's.
When you say 30 do you mean your IQ?? HA HA HA
