Florida is the worst State to get a D/L even if you have every piece of ID and letters from different places to verify I am clean. I have given up. Not proud of my record, but have remained alcohol free for that amount of time.

In 2000 I moved to West Virginia and could have received a WV license with no problem. But needed an extract of my live Birth Record from New Jersey. This took some time. See Barack Obama. So after 2001 and after 9/11 things made it impossible. I now live in Florida. And either you have to be an illegal alien or have fake ID. Was denied until a 16 year old DUI was cleared up. At my age I don't jump through hoops for anyone. So now I drive only in an emergency. Cont.

This is very familiar to me personally. I held a NJ D/L since I was 16 1/2. In 1989 I had a BAC of .11 while driving and went to dummy school. In 1991 I moved to Wisconsin I was arrested for Dui by a rogue State Policemen and told him about N.J. but still receive a fine and went to dummy school. Then, ashamed to say, I was stopped by the same State Trooper and this time was given a Triple DUI which is a criminal offense in WI. TMALSS. Completed all my Alchohol rehab in an office but one.
