  • Hi, can you use the same method to overwrite the cellphone lock code? I forgot my security lock code and the phone is completely locked. so when I hook it to USB, I can't even access the menue to choose Nokia mode... therefor, Diego can't find my phone. Any Idea what to do?

  • Good luck man!

I would try looking the question up some more in google or on nokia's website, but I have no idea.

  • Omg I have this phone and the cable. I'm so trying this. Thanks!

  • would this work on a Nokia 6080 type help??

  • maybe. What happened when you tried it?

I don't have a list of supported phones.

my phone's been unlocked for so long I don't even have a copy of the software handy anymore, heh. I'm almost ready to move to a blackberry.

  • I followed these steps but Diego hangs on the splash screen. Does anyone know whether this works on Vista?

    have Nokia 6275i phone (unplugged)

Trouble: what .rar file are you installing at 1:41 of the video and where are you installing it in System 32?

i went to one store and it was 50$

  • I picked mine up for $5 on eBay. Was a $0.01 buy it now with $5 shipping.

  • from which site did you download Nokia Diego from?

  • It is possible to hack a Nokia 6275i using the infrared port with a software called "MobiMB Mobile Media Browser".

It works : I have used it to transfer lots of games to my cellphone. However, the trial version can't transfer files that are over 64 KiB in size... :-(

  • I cant find a diego download anywere

  • what else can you do with Diego3.08

  • I've installed and cracked Diego3.08, connected the CA53 cable but the only thing I get is the following...

    Status: Looking for Phone

    Status: No Phone Found

Can someone please help me out..

  • When you connected the phone, did you set it to "Nokia Mode"?

  • i tried one then the other, 'Nokia mode' and 'Data storage mode', I tried all COM ports and even checked the FLS virtual port...all ports that Diego use are in use by something. In Diego there is no option for USB port listed just com ports 1 through 9.

  • i just got myself this phone and i'm having the same problem. did you find out what the problem was thanks

    Thank you.....

(Just wondering if I could ask 1 more favor...as this has probably already been covered) I will most likely never use the phone for Java enabled games, but if I wanted to, has anyone played with the settings in Diego to enable this feature???

If you have, please post as I would love to learn how..

Thanks again...(and screw you Bell Mobile!!!)

  • thanks for this video, i'm a visual learner and another customer on another cite said to check out this video. so about $45 for a microSD and a data cable and now i can use my phone as it was meant to be. thanks :)

  • i love you. thanks so much for doing this, it has been a serious hassle trying to figure out what works. :D all i need to do is ebay that usb cable and im set! thanks!

  • why do you replace the system 32 files? great tutorial btw, i love my 6275i!

  • Excellent tutorial! Diego is definitely a life saver for Nokia users. XD

  • I don't know if anyone of you have sound when you download your cell video on your cpu but with diego it can be done have fun too !

  • Hey this video is great, a question you think you can passme a copy of diego? please? =) cyberdyne15 at (where the mail is always hot)

  • ok thanks

  • does this phone come with a usb?

  • nope. You've gotta buy one. $5 on ebay.

  • thank you SOO MUCH BRO!!!! now i can have ringtones!!!!!

  • You cant use bluetooth for the connection, Diego doesn't detect it.

  • thank you so much it works great i love being able to use mp3s rather than the crappy midi ringtones that came with it

  • nice classic windows. great vid, i have to fix my cable before i can m0d my 6275i

  • hey where'd did you find diego? ive looked everywhere on the internet and i cant find it?? please help...

  • Just search "Diego 3.08" in google and you'll find it. They're usually distributed in torrents.

  • Thank you for the vid...

  • tthank you so much

  • Here's a few things you might want to note:

    - You don't need to use the CA-53 cable, the DKU-2 works fine.

    - Bell/VM/Solo all gimp Java applications, so you can also use Diego to lift the gimp setting. I'll dig that up later.

Some answers to questions that others had: -Diego will NOT use Bluetooth or Infrared to communicate with the phone.

    - Also, this minor mod DOES NOT void your warranty, you're just changing a setting. It's not like you're decompiling the whole phone OS...

  • excellent vid man, however one question-

How do you actually add the mp3 to your phone?

I have done what you have told me, now where do i go to "drag and drop" the file from my computer to the phone?

    thanks man!!

  • Once you connect the CA-53 data cable you'll have an option (on your phone) called "Data Storage". Choose that and it will detect your phone as a removable drive and it will show up in My Computer.

Do remember that you'll need to add in a microSD card to use that feature. They're relatively inexpensive, a 1GB card should cost around $15 or less.

  • thanks man!

I bought the CA-70 cord.. and it wont let me transfer stuff! it was 60 dollars! WTF!!!

but i am returning it tomorrow or something. I bought the CA-53 off ebay for 1 cent hahahaha.

Hopefully that will work! maybe ill buy a 2GB card on ebay too! prbably get it for 5bucks haha.

  • Is there a way to put games on the Nokia 6275i with the cable?

  • There is, but I do believe that involves using the nokia software itself. The nokia software is restrictive itself on what type of files it will allow you to copy onto (and remove from) the phone.

You could explore the options in the diego software to find out if there is an option to allow games without DRM to be copied over. Changing that option may allow the nokia software to copy DRM-free files to the phone.

I don't have any experience in that area, as I don't use my phone for games. :(

  • How did you do that flashlight at the beginning?

  • I've put all sorts of games on mine with the cable and Nokia's PC-Suite.

  • where'd u get tha games?

  • Will it work using Infrared mode ?

I don't want to pay 60 $ for the data cable...

I'll threaten my carrier with a lawsuit if they don't unlock it for me.

  • My carrier said they weren't afraid of me and they didn't care if I sued them. Well fuck them....

  • I would get one off eBay. I paid $5 USD for mine and it works great. They sell them with a Buy It Now price of $0.01 but you pay $5 shipping.

  • I'm not certain if it works in Infrared mode -- I don't have any way of testing that.

  • Can you use the bluetooth instead of the USB Cable??

  • Does this void your warranty at all??? I got this phone from virgin...

  • It probably technically voids your warranty, but if you were to return the phone for warranty they would not likely check for something like that.

  • Gracias men!!!

  • how do you download diego

  • Thnak you very much for this video!! I will most definilty try this out!!

  • After that's done, can you reinstall the software like MobiMB or how do you put the MP3s on the phone? Do you know any other tricks?

  • You can transfer MP3's to the phone using the built-in windows driver by selecting the data mode option from your nokia phone, rather than the nokia mode option.

After everything is done you can uninstall the diego software and reinstall other software you were using. It wont affect the other software at all as long as you uninstall diego.

  • Thanks. I already tried installing PC-Suite just for kicks as I couldn't find a working version of MobiMB that would detect my phone and I can switch back and forth from changing settings in Diego to uploading games and mp3s to my phone using PC-Suite and it works fine. PC-Suite does't give me access to all of the folders for some reason however, so I'll try data mode next.

  • could you do this without having the data cable and jus usin the bluetooth connection?

  • I imagine that would work fine as well, but I don't have a bluetooth connection to try it with. Give it a shot and let us know :)
