@Kstewar7 I am curious about Allah. I live in a place where no one talks about god, but many people say that Allah exists and has a purpose for us. I've waited a long time for him to communicate with me but I hear nothing. My intrigue about the topic makes me want to read about his message in the Qu'ran, but another part of me is stubborn and thinks that if there is an Allah, he would be able to tell me his message or just make himself known to me in some way.I wait to see the sign; nothing yet.

@TitliNihaan It does not make sense to me that I am required to use some kind of decoder (Qu'ran) to see evidence of Allah. I am convinced that divine presence should be obvious. What about people who are born in remote countries with no access to libraries and cannot get their hands on a Qu'ran. Is it possible for them to know about Allah and his message without ever having read the Qu'ran? Are those people doomed for eternity because they did not have access to a book? These things puzzle me.

Thanks you all for answering my question. Mrs. Ramadan, my sons' teacher said that as a rule of thumb, if it was kosher, it was halal. I'm new at this so I get confused fairly easily.

@Kstewar7 basically, almost everything in the ocean is halal. although, except for the things that are above us in the food chain (e.g. Sharks, Crocodiles[Alligators] etc.)
