If people could get past the fact that the visuals are cartoony they would find that this game is great if not better than the HD versions. Your also forgetting that this game was based around the CARTOON not the live action movies. The controls were actually extremely fun to use, better than mashing and holding buttons on the HD versions. The dialogue is quite funny and had me laughing a lot at the end. The CoOp is what really makes the game though, its so much fun to play with someone else.
I really like the Graphic style of the Wii version of the Ghostbusters the video game. It reminds of the Real Ghostbusters cartoon. And i grown up watching that cartoon! nostalgia overlord! xD LOL

For example, Killzone 2 probably has the second best graphics of any game I've seen (#1 being Uncharted 2), yet I still hated it with a passion.
So while games should make the effort to look good, they are one of the least important aspects of a game. Unless it's a game with very little focus on gameplay, like Heavy Rain (but I absolutely hate those kind of games, anyway).

yeah there are good female characters like fasha,pan,this one alian chick whos name i forgot ^^'', oh and android 18 is pretty beasty. my favorite character is android 17.

It has some more missions, new ghosts, the chracters look realistic (I'm not a fan of the cartoony style), a new weapon (Slime tether) and better graphics. That's not to say the Wii version is bad, but the Wii's version is veered toward younger kids and you can tell by comparing the dialog. The Wii is for younger audiences and introduces them to Ghostbusters, and the Xbox is for more hardcore fans.

@SonicSnail95 That's what the designer claimed, if I recall. Nintendo's focusing more on gameplay, and less on graphics. It's like a reverse Sega Genesis, or an Atari Jaguar, only the Wii isn't pushed around and it doesn't need a bunch of add-ons.
its a good game, but i pretty much beat this on hard in a few days, and i enjoy the ps3 one much more. its funny actually; whereas the wii one has LOTS of ghosts that you need to trap, the ps3 one has more of the "just blast em" enemies. i WISH the ps3 had more REAL captures, because those are the highlights of the gameplay, and the times when you REALLY feel like a ghostbuster
i agree with this review, the camera does get a little wobbly. i only wish i had an adapter for the Wii-mote shaped like a proton pack and gun as my hand sometimes get a cramp...

I have a 360 and a wii and I honestly hate my wii now. I never play it, there are never ANY good games coming out for it, and wifi sucks for it. On the other hand I play my 360 all the time, xbox live makes every single game have amazing replay value. The wii is shit, the motion controls are pissing me off now and i hate it. I would sell it for 30 dollars.

I have both versions (wii and ps3) and they both have their own merits, I prefer the wii, however, the controle scheme is just awesome! There ARE some extra scenes in the PS3 version, though. And the puzzles in both versions are different because the weapon system isn't the same.

ofc ps3 and xbox360 version are better in gfx.. Wii is more of an entertainment system for all family with the motion controlers etc.. seems pretty fun tbh but for the best games ofc there are better systems.

Totally agree! They made indiana jones based on 3 movies, star wars on 6 movies (first 2 games - each had 3 movie), batman based on comicses and movies. Now its time to make some new game with some new features, coz games had different characters but same gameplay and interface. And i want them to finaly add online co-op.
Wii is good if you don't give a crap about Multiplayer. I happen to own a Wii, and I enjoy a lot of the titles that it offers. But PS3 and Xbox 360 work fine for the multiplayer crowd. Unless they're PC nuts like me. You just can't put Counter-Strike or Quake Live on an Xbox.
But, in all honesty, this game looks lame. Sorry, but I can't forgive any developer that makes Bill Murray look like a dead fish. As a Ghostbusters fan, I have to say, PS3/360/PC Ghostbusters FTW.
i think ill stick to my pc version. nice graphics if you have the right mashine, the particle effects are very neat and there is keyboard+mouse or controller support. what more do you want? xD

i have a ps3 and a wii i do play the ps3 more but i havent abandonded the wii i mean it has got some kick ass titles like super smash bros brawl and mortal kombat so i would get little cheap £19.00 games for the wii and much bigger games with cool multiplayer for like 30 40 pounds for the ps3 so yeah use both consoles to get different genres of games

I have a 360 and a wii and I honestly hate my wii now. I never play it, there are never ANY good games coming out for it, and wifi sucks for it. On the other hand I play my 360 all the time, xbox live makes every single game have amazing replay value. The wii is shit, the motion controls are pissing me off now and i hate it. I would sell it for 30 dollars.

I have both versions (wii and ps3) and they both have their own merits, I prefer the wii, however, the controle scheme is just awesome! There ARE some extra scenes in the PS3 version, though. And the puzzles in both versions are different because the weapon system isn't the same.

This game is actually more entertaining than the PS3 or 360 versions, the graphics are more ghostbuster-ish and the controller rocks.

Totally agree! They made indiana jones based on 3 movies, star wars on 6 movies (first 2 games - each had 3 movie), batman based on comicses and movies. Now its time to make some new game with some new features, coz games had different characters but same gameplay and interface. And i want them to finaly add online co-op.

Wii is good if you don't give a crap about Multiplayer. I happen to own a Wii, and I enjoy a lot of the titles that it offers. But PS3 and Xbox 360 work fine for the multiplayer crowd. Unless they're PC nuts like me. You just can't put Counter-Strike or Quake Live on an Xbox.
But, in all honesty, this game looks lame. Sorry, but I can't forgive any developer that makes Bill Murray look like a dead fish. As a Ghostbusters fan, I have to say, PS3/360/PC Ghostbusters FTW.
