  • It's been officially proven. EVERYONE makes better fills than me :(

  • thats the beste Base sound i ever heard

  • Hey nice job! Great to see real double bass. I think it's making a comeback. Back in the 70's I played two Sonor rosewood 14x22's. Pisser sound!

  • were are your basin?!?

  • The bass drum sound is sick

  • I'm just as bad as far as timing goes, but if he makes his timing better, all of the heavy metal stuff will sound nice and clean.

  • Why precisely would you buy an extra bass drum and not a CRASH?? Or even another tom for that matter!!!

  • Using a splash as a crash LOL !

  • i almost jizzedwn i heard the kick hope mykt sounds hal s gd as urs we i get it

  • U guys are all jerks get a life way to go kid keep working

  • You're really bad... you definitely don't deserve a that kit....

  • Awesome vid! what techneac did you use at the end of the video for the faster double bassing/?

  • you look drake from drake and josh

  • YOUR = BELONGS TO = YOUR CAR

YOU'RE = CONTRACTION OF "YOU ARE"

DOUCHBAG = SHIT YANK INSULT WITH NO DAMAGE WHATSOEVER

  • the only skill you have is being a knob and hitting the base pedal rapidly dick :@

  • i dont understand why someone wouldwant 2 bass drums! why dont you just have one of those double pedal things?

  • @XBOXADDICT97

I dunno why this guy has them but the reason proper metal drummers have two bass drums is that a double pedal uses two beaters on one skin. When the first beater hits and returns, the skin is still reverberating and isn't getting a chance to breathe between hits.

With 2 bass drums, each beater has it's own drum skin which is left to breathe after each hit.

  • so, how much were your crash & ride cymbals?

  • wtf so much hate... i think is a nice video, fucks sake now you have to be Marko Mineman, Jordan Rudess or Andrea Bocceli to being able to post a video on youtube whiteout everybody feeling ofended... the guy wanted to show the sound of his new drum kit, whats the problem??

  • I don't understand the hate on this kid. Cool drum set man ignore these dumbasses.

  • i love how you act like your such hot shit and you play like you have a dildo shoved up your ass. douchebag.

  • obviously a chris adler fan boy

  • Leave him alone.

  • Thats a great kit!

  • Congrats u can ride the pedal

  • Get yourself a crash man, give the fucking splash a rest

  • No Cymbals? Loser. Anyone can do that. Good try though.

  • you can afford a 1500 dollar kit but only can afford 1 cymbal.... a splash?!?!?!?! hahahahahahahahahahahhaha ur such a joke

  • This chap just needs positive criticism not shooting down in flames. I can't surely be naive enough to think you don't own any other cymbals but if I am then you need to go buy some, sharpish. Plus, branch out a little. Double bass rock drumming isn't the be all end all. There are plenty of other genres out there that will actually improve you as a rock drummer.

  • heh 20.000 :D

  • Do you play anything other than 16th note double bass pussy shit?

I love how just love to rock on that splash, who the fuck plays with a splash live?

The only good thing is you mic'd up your shit and ran compression on it, that way we don't have to hear how bad you actually are.

  • wow what a boring video..... now call me a douchebag

  • Thank you for posting a video to show how the kit sounds.

  • have fun getting those bass drums to gigs....

  • Why are you doing just rhythms of Double Pedal?

  • @TheSpongbob55 HAHAHA SO TRUE! Is that all he can? Dude learn to groove

  • @AlterBridgefanc Ha ha ha ha I'm sure it's not all he can but ... He plays very slowly. I do not like it

  • Needs less double bass, more cymbals and more creativity. Those bass drums sound big though! Like that!

I don't use double bass anyways, no need for it :)

  • Comment removed

  • hahahahaha have you actually checked his band? it's just a bunch of guys dressed like girls, making a fool of themselves. learn how to play the drums and not only 16th notes on your bass drum. also, listen to some proper music that actually IS metal and not to something that makes metal into a hype and makes it ridiculous. you're just pathetic and oh yeah go ahead call me a douchebag like you do to everyone criticising you, ignorant piece of shit

  • @metallifukinca Well,i don't understand how can somebody disagree with you, after watching this video,it's obvious.

  • buy more cymbals bro cuz if u only play splash and hi hat it sounds dumb

  • How bout some blast beats? =P

  • this is heavymetal6893, this is my new channel where all my videos are going to be uploaded. i have one up without the mics to show how it sounds raw on a regular camera.

  • why you don't buy some crashes, you buy big ones if you want to play metal. If possible bigger tha 17''

  • Well, you've definitely got the metal thing down okay... Can you try some different genres? Branch out. Try Funk, Jazz, or Latin styles man.. seriously.. those beats will give you something to work for.

Once you realize what potential there is in percussion, it's limitless what you can do. Challenge yourself. And get a private teacher.

    Best of luck

  • do you know any more beats?

  • LOL! chris adler wannabee.

  • That splash is history if you leave it tightened down like that.

  • maybe learn a new beat?

  • nice vid man dont worry about what people are saying

you did a good job in showing people what the kit sounds like

  • damn dude how much compression are you running on your mix. tone it down a bit

  • lol you like saying douchebag don't you :L almost as much as you like them 16th notes and your justin beiber haircut. Why post a video as public when you cant handle criticism?

  • wouldnt a double pedal had been cheaper than the whole bass drum AND sigle pedal or theres a real difference?

  • @wishhunter in most cases and especially in the past having two bass drums with seperate pedals was better than a double pedal because of the slight latency between pressing the second pedal and it pulling the beater toward the drum (caused by the bar connecting the pedals not being fixed solid). However nowadays its easier to set up, and often cheaper to buy pedals like the pearl demon drive which eliminate the latency. Most people now with two bass drums do so for the image. Hope that helps :)

  • 2 bassdrums, no crash and ride LOL

  • fuckin nora shit eq!

  • im amazed -_- what skill it took to play sixteenth notes the same for a whole minute

  • nice collection of cymbals..

  • what pedal?

  • lol funny how this guy has 12 tousand views and his drumming is so unclean. and my drummin is insane i got like 600 lol

  • Comment removed

  • what pedal???

  • nice "ride"

  • wow that must be expensive to your parents

  • @Hasselmar13 actually it was 1500 and i made that from my job and selling my old set. douchebag.

  • @heavymetal6893 haha owned .. nice set looks perdy

  • @heavymetal6893 Okay now get rid of double pedals.

  • @Hasselmar13 fag

  • Sweet Kit Man!! What are the sizes of your Kick? I might get a meridian and i want to know what kick size to get. Thanks!

  • Kit sounds great! Nice thud to the toms! :D

  • I think a great demonstration of this would be where you demonstrate one drum at a time at all dynamic levels. And then after that, you can perform a simple solo where you play a combination of fast stuff and slow stuff.

For example: you could hit the first tom like 5-6 times in a row, starting as quietly as possible and waiting for the sustain to end in between each hit. Then repeat this for the rest of the toms.

  • i love the sound of that crash... naaaaaat

  • why the snare wires sound more when i hit the 14 floor tom and not the 10 tom??

  • @lank880 idk, probably because you have the tom tuned to high.

  • @lank880 It's because the vibrations from a floor tom are lower than anything smaller. Which means that the lower the drum's pitch, the lower the frequencies/vibrations which, in turn, will cause your bottom snare head to vibrate, causing the snares on the bottom to vibrate.

  • @lank880 Because the low frequences are making the snare wires shaking.

  • God listen to those drums. They sound phenomenal =) And im not normally a fan of Mapex.

  • and those "drummers" has such awesome drums...

  • The bass drums shounds awsome, have you done something or they sound like this with the stock heads ?

  • fuk wot every else says man i 4t u were gd! super jealous of ur kit man :(

  • you need some crash cymbals

  • wheres the rest of your cymbals?

  • wow that was really boring to watch

  • Why would you bother with the fade in and outs?? You're doing the same thing over and over... Woah, sixteenth notes on the bass drums (fade out and in) Wow more sixteenth notes on the bass drums. cool

  • @heavymetal6893 no dont be a dick about it. Hes telling the truth, You could have demo'ed what the toms sound like and instead you just played 16th notes on the bass drums. At least we know what the bass drums sound like.

  • @heavymetal6893 i believe you just admitted your a douche bag.

  • @heavymetal6893 so you just called yourself a douchebag.smooth

  • @heavymetal6893 cause only "cool / good drummers can play it" ...people on you/splooge, only their opinion counts....nice drumming btw...people are pathetic.

  • @heavymetal6893 lol you like saying douchebag don't you :L almost as much as you like them 16th notes

  • @heavymetal6893 you love the word "douchebag" don't you?

  • @heavymetal6893 ......your calling yourself a douchebag?

  • @DutchysWorld you are so right..

  • if i had this kit i would have used the 2nd kick to extend the main one . that just me though

  • @darrenguitar funniest drum comment i've seen today, FTW

  • Wicked pair of feet!

  • i wish i could had been so lucky to start playing with such a kit!

  • @ouye89 im really getting tired of peoples ignorance. if youd read the description youd realize these are samples of the kit, not my skills. ive been playing for 7 years.

  • @heavymetal6893 i did not mention any of your skills, you luck young for paying this whole kit on your own, im sorry if im wrong. By the way, if you get tired of the comments, just don't make the video, youtube is very cruel

  • @heavymetal6893 i did not mention any of your skills, you look luck young for paying this whole kit on your own, im sorry if im wrong. By the way, if you get tired of the comments, just don't make the video, youtube is very cruel

  • your not worthy of that shirt

  • You should probably take one of your bass drums and set it on fire to take away any desire that you might have to do shitty singles CONSTANTLY on your kick....... SERIOUSLY.....bro......im not even joking.

  • how much was that for just the 5 piece set?

  • @MrStockholmz i think the 5 piece runs about 950. i bought this as the dual bass for about 1600

  • this is a joke right???

  • You can to put two cymbals on every bass drums. I think that looks so fine.

  • good and i like that breakdown u did on the 3rd take and i like that fill u did on the first take, pretty sick dude

  • plz tell me u got more cymbals then just a splash and a hi-hat lolz

  • @DrumzGuitarVocalz i now use 2 crashes, a china, hit hats, ride, bell, and splash.

  • @DrumzGuitarVocalz Oh god, i think i see a second splash o.O

  • @DrumzGuitarVocalz After buying the kit he ran out of money for a crash and ride

  • @DrumzGuitarVocalz It's called essentials dick head, wtf is your problem trolling everyone, this guy's a legend... Jokes jokes.

  • noice sounding kit mate :) where d'you get it from and how much was it?

  • u suck

    really

  • @k2fg9 because your videos prove that statement... oh wait, you dont have any. shut the fuck up kid.

  • @heavymetal6893 I think your vid's kick ass dude!!! you got some REAL talent!!! :)

  • @heavymetal6893 u looked my profile and didn't see my age or... nevermind...

    u suck

    really

  • @k2fg9 oh my bad, youre a 26 year old hating on a 17 year old over the internet. get a fuckin job and do something with your life.

  • set sounds amazing, what tuning do you use on the snare?

  • Tune the snare

  • lol who rides the splash? You really don't know how to drum...

  • @Musefan6732 and youre the tard who cant read the description. and youre the same tard whos never listened to lamb of god.

  • @heavymetal6893 You can't call someone else a "tard" when you can't spell retard or you're, but I have listened to Lamb of God on many occasions. What songs I actually listened to them they weren't riding the splash, they were adding it into the songs like every other drummer. The only song of theirs that I can actually think of that they overuse the splash is Laid to Rest, but I don't listen to them alot. Death Metal/Screamo wasn't ever my taste of music...

  • @Musefan6732 read the description, dude. he spent probably close to 2 grand on that set with little left over for cymbals. and FYI screamo has nothing to do with metal. screamo applies to bands like BMTH, early Underoath, The Used, bands like that.

  • @Musefan6732 .. Most of lamb of gods songs, he rides the splash.. Because it takes away the focus of the drums and sets it on the guitars.

  • @Musefan6732 he's right dude, Chris Adler rides the splash. You should probably do your research before you post insults asshole. Anyway heavymetal i love the sound you get out of your bass drums. I too play a lot of metal but I would probably buy a single bass kit and get a double pedal. I can't afford it now but I would like to have one eventually. By the way, are those stock heads on the basses?

  • @Musefan6732 :L mate.. just listen to Chris adler from lamb of god.. He rides the splash? Are you going to tell him he's bad at drums?

  • kit sounds good, but you need use those toms more than your feet. it seems like thats all you do is double bass. it would sound alot better if you tried expanding your style outside of that little box ur in

  • play more with your hands not your feet. when you drum by yourself without music, you have to make the music, this would be fine if it where in a song. Just a little something i realized. amazing set though :}

  • @whophead007 he says it's not meant to be anything amazing and that it's just some sound samples =P.

  • what finish is that? volcanic burst?

  • @glitchhacker101 sienna burst

  • what heads do you use?? sounds pretty awesome

  • @c0d3x001 factory remo heads.

  • Can you drum without double bass drum?????????????

  • They sound great!

  • dude. fucking AWESOME send me your kit.

  • hey man sounds great, move around abit move ur head make it look like ur having fun

  • The set sounds great but it looks funny with no cymbals ;)

  • very nice kit and sound dude

    where are your cymbals?

  • @SuperDrummerJoe couldnt afford them at the time. but now i have a wuhan china and i just ordered a sabian crash

  • how long has it taken you to get a double bass roll ?

  • @ilovepwd not very long. its mainly just 3 fast hits, right left right. i plan on making another vid this week and ill have a foot cam so you can see how i do it.

  • hey nice drum sound and playing!!!!!

    what drumheads are you using?

  • @wreles94 theyre all factory remo heads. pinstripes on the toms and powerstroke 3 on bass and idk on the snare

  • nice kit man, i wanna see some covers!!

  • @jkeep31895 once i get all my cymbals ill be covering

  • @heavymetal6893 sick man cant wait. check out my newest cover of paramore let the flames begin
